In a 4-2-3-1

Douglas

Duffie Boyd Munro Lockwood Sinclair

Bachirou Tidser

Riley Gardyne Vigurs

El Alagui

Tidser would have some licence to support the rest of midfield. The team would be biased in attacking down its right side, but that would suit Vigurs drifting in perfectly.

Really like the look of that side. In fact, that's probably the closest one can get without being too bias towards their own team. If I were to be bias, however, Weston would easily slot in ahead of Boyd. Irvine would compete with Duffie (Can't say I've noticed him much) and Gavin Rae would have to be in the team for me. However, that would mean I'd have 6 Dee players in the first team, so I appreciate I'm wearing tinted specs.

I'd maybe go McGurn in goals.

And Dougie Imrie at left-back.

Bachirou has to be in there. He is the best in the league by a mile at his job

It seems as if I'm just picking holes in people's picks but Forsyth left us for Watford before the start of the season, maybe you mean Morton's Forsyth?

Do you mean Craig Forsyth who's currently playing for Watford?

Murray Wallace is the best left sided central defender I have seen in a long long time. He has only turned 19 last week too.

As I said it is really difficult though

He may very well be but Bachirou for his size and the fact he gets booted about every week and can still consistently turn in MOM performances means he should be in the team

Better than Munro currently is? He didn't look it a few weeks ago.

Not even that idiot Forshites granny would vote for him. He is dreadful, and not being smart I said it at Stranraer in the first half of a game we won 8-0

He's not better than Munro, but he is far better than he was on Boxing Day. He really struggled with the wind that day. Put that down to inexperience I guess, but he's improving every week. He'd make a very effective left back IMO as well.

That was pretty difficult to be fair. Don't think it's at all unrealistic for the majority of the players to be coming from the top 3 sides. Of course I'm basing this on players I've actually seen. I think it's a fairly strong line up, but I'm unsure whether Vigurs is actually a left sided midfielder?

There is no chance whatsoever that McMenamin is better than Kallum Higginbotham.

Dammit, I forgot about Sinclair. There's always one. He'd be ahead of Lockwood in my team.

I would have went for Bachirou and Tidser as well, but I understand they've only played 6 league games together. The rest of the games where only one of the two has played or none of the two at all, they've lost the majority of games.

I don't think they've played enough to be included in any side of the season now.

McGregor has been far better than Weston this season. I would have McGregor ahead of Boyd.

Lose Duffie and you cut El Alagui's supply line. I reckon at least 60% of his goals have came from Duffie crosses/passes. The boy's an assist machine and easliy the Division's most improved player.

McGurn is the one Raith player who I'd say deserves to be in the team of the year. The man has picked us up a good few points. I'd hate to think where we'd be without him. Even then, you can't really disagree with Rab Douglas, who is a superb keeper. It is the one area where the league seems to excel. Yet still Chris Smith is getting games for the Pars in the SPL/Cup....

We were top of the league until tidser got injured, and we are unbeaten since he came back. It was only when we only had bachirou fit that we were losing games, and that's because his style of play isn't the kind that wins teams matches and our other players were rubbish. He was still our motm every game during that spell. I'm not sure Morton have lost a league game with tidser in the team this season, barring the game against queens that he should never have started and got subbed off injured.
