Does any Stirling fan have a copy of the December programme that I could buy off them? It's just that my first published match report was inside and I'd quite like a copy as a souvenir and they didn't have any left when I went to buy one last month!

Pretty sure there's still a good few of the December issue in the Club Office.
Who did you ask?
Try e-mailing the Club on stirlingalbion@btconnect.com
I'll try to remember to have a look first thing tomorrow anyway.

I just tried to get one at the Airdrie game at half time and they had none left. I will email the club just now and if you could have a gander that would be terrific.

Somebody's fobbed you off there. My apologies.
The Airdrie game was our first (and as it turned out last) in December and as it's a monthly magazine and not a match day programme, there would definitely be copies available.
Indeed with the Cowdenbeath game being postponed, albeit at the last minute, I could probably let you have over a hundred.

Stirling Albion don't do programmes any more. They used to do the best in the lower leagues bar none...

Any dates for this game yet Mr P?
Sorry Vince, nothing in the pipeline as yet.
What I can say is that it is now certain that the SFL will dictate the date of the game to us.
We've got midweek fixtures lined up for next week and the week after.
The following midweek there are no referees available due to their conference.
After the second Saturday in February, teams are required to dance to the tune of the SFL with regards to midweek fixtures.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s the programme was excellent in content and ok design-wise. It would never win programme of the year because too much emphasis was always placed on design and layout.
As IT made publishing much easier to achieve, the programme gradually went from essential (pre-Internet days) to "Ach, the money goes to the club".
Not helped when the programme editor was ..... Well he had to give up suddenly let's say.
