Musselburgh have announced 2 new signings tonight. Paul Currie has rejoined us after spells at Berwick and Hamilton Accies. Brilliant player for us before. Still reckon he's too good for the juniors but Im certainly not complaining. Hopefully give us exactly what we need in the middle of the park. The other new face is Gary Hamilton. Cant say I know too much about him. Any info?

Paul Currie cannot sign for anyone senior because of red tape regarding the FIFA transfer window which affects the SFL but not junior football.

I assume that Currie was only to resign for us to avoid the need to go to non-league football, as you say he's already played for 2 SPL/SFL clubs this season (being ourselves and Hamilton). He was in the stand for the Berwick v Stranraer game on Saturday, so I wonder if we were looking at signing him. If we were, then obviously either we decided not to, or he didn't want to and he chose Musseburgh instead. Quality player.

Dont know the details but I would imagine he'll be here until the end of the season with a look to going back in the leagues next season. Certainly good enough. Could be just what we need to help stear us away from the foot of the table. Brilliant signing

Who gives a monkeys who boness sign. They quite simply will not pose any threat to linlithgow this season. We have taken a squad who finished three points adrift and improved it all round. Boness have taken a league winning side and ripped it apart on the back of one mans whims. Top 5 at best for boness this year

BU's unbeaten vs the Rose. 2011/12

Great credit to the manager for making this happen I know 1 man doesnt make a team but what a week to make such a signing... for me this tie is in the balance and COMING FROM THE EAST I would love Musselburgh to progress but my only negative is that they have conceeded to many goals this season so if they can put that right on Saturday then they will win as they have match winners all over the park. Heart says 2-1 mussey head says 2-1 talbot.
