Couldn't see a thread for this game, so here goes.

Following our brave, but fruitless trip to Killie last night, next up for The Dee is a tricky away trip to Partick.

How does everyone see this one going?

Head to head record:

Dundee 0 - 1 Partick (29/10/11)
Partick 0 - 1 Dundee (06/08/11)
Dundee 3 - 2 Partick (30/04/11)
Partick 0 - 0 Dundee (05/03/11)
Dundee 2 - 1 Partick (06/11/10)
Partick 1 - 0 Dundee (14/08/10)

Recent history shows meetings between the two sides tend to be close. Can't see it being any different on Saturday.

Looking forward to the trip to Firhill, as always. Definitely my favourite away day. Quietly confident of another good Dundee performance. We seem to have clicked into another gear in the last few weks and by all accounts played well again down at Killie last night.

I always enjoy trips to Firhill too, and I'm sorry to be missing this one. As Berti said it's likely to be tight.

I eagerly await Commander Biggie's thoughts on whether we need to win this one or not.

If we score first we'll win, 2-1 probably. If Dees score first they'll win by anything between 1 and 3 goals to nil.
Against my better judgement I'm going to this.

Unfortunately I can't go to this — I recon it will be a good game with us ultimately winning.

I realise the distressing possibility of jinxing it, but my last three Dundee predictions have been correct... I'll say Partick 1 – 3 Dundee.

I stared that jinx flavoured curse right in the puss and told it, 'Get yourself straight to f**k, ya c*nt!'

We need to hope that Rae is still with us for this one.

I think we'll make some progress in this game by actually registering a shot on goal.

Football being played like the 1970 Brazilians.

I'm liking the look of the odds of Both Teams Not To Score at around evens.

Clyde fans care about nothing but Clyde, except maybe enjoying hearing of a severe pumping for the "mankies" up Maryhill way.I despise everything about them, including the fact that they "pretend" that they don't care, Although I must admit that I do miss playing against them. I only wish that they'd change their colours, as, Although I do like Frosties, I refuse to eat them as a matter of principle.

This Gavin Rae contract enigma is frustrating even though I can understand why Smith is reluctant to reveal the exact details. I get the feeling it was extended to just allow him to play in these cup games v Killie. Maybe not though.

Word on the pavey has it that Rae is on a month-to-month rolling contract, or something to that effect.

The longer we can keep hold of him the better. His presence in the midfield may be the difference between a strong title challenge and fading away from the pack.

And to think I thought you hadn't left for the land of magic mushroom milkshakes yet. Must be Dundee's equivalent, the steak and magic mushroom peh.

Have I ever mentioned that we'll win the league by the way?

Clarkie probably does them! There's no limit to what that man will put in a pie.

But I digress. While it remains a long shot and County's to throw away, I don't think it's too bold a statement to say Dundee are in contention.

All we know from this season's battles at Dense is that Tidserou have destroyed all-comers in your midfield.

And fatally derailed the Dundee Derry's title hopes into the bargain.
