Just wondering when you are going to let the 2 of them return to Ladeside as we are struggling this season lol

Being serious though
Me personally and i mean no disrespect here
I and basically all Kilbirnie fans feel that the 2 of them would be playing at a higher level by now
With Davy especially plying his trade in at least the 1st division
Whats your thoughts?
A do know Davy was contemplating coming back at the end of the season and the reason he stayed was that he swept the board at the player of the year awards last season and felt that he couldnt leave when getting backing like that
Jamie we were getting back last season only for 1 of the other strikers to get injured and he started banging them in

Davie was outstanding last year, as he has been this, and was probably the best guy on the park last week at Motherwell. The coaches at Hampden are falling over themselves to praise the guy. On and off the park, the guy is great and that goes for Jamie too - works tirelessly and is a really nice lad. He bided his time last year as Mick Daly was absolutely on fire up front, and he's grabbed his chance with both hands. 4 goals on Saturday, and a real study in chance-taking. His work rate off the ball is incredible, and he seems to be able to find space so easily.

Hopefully we can hang onto them a bit longer as money doesn't seem to be their driving force (just as well!!!!). I wouldn't be surprised to see both playing in the First....maybe for us in two years! We're actually a half-decent team on our day and we try to play football as it should be played; maybe that's a factor in them staying. Also, whilst the players aren't paid, they are treated fairly well, with facilities as good as anything outside the Old Firm. It's quite often a culture shock when players leave us and go elsewhere.

Any more like them for us?

Not this season im afraid
We were lucky with both davy jamie and chris erskine who went to partick that we brought them on in a poor league where they got the chance to learn the game
In the super premier league you dont get that chance and money talks
Unfortunately for us we dont have the spending power of some of the other teams in the league

I'd love to see Longworth make the grade at a higher level still to Queens Park. The most technically gifted player i've seen close up. No disrespect at all to QP as they're a steady SFL3 side, but i think Jamie could easily be playing for a lower end 1st division team and still be relatively successful.

I heard a rumour from a fairly reliable source that Motherwell were considering taking a closer look at Anderson after how well he performed against them.

Both Davie and Jamie have been outstanding for us, I personally think they'll move on after this season as they are both far too good for the third division.

No chance will they go back to the Juniors. Anderson can only go forward now and could have a career in the First Division or beyond.

Longworth will be a legend at QP. He's the type of player who might get flak from idiot fans at another club (Thistle or Morton for example) if he goes through a rough patch. He has a career outside football so maybe - although wishful thinking - we might have him for a wee while yet (but maybe only if we get promoted).

They seem to be grounded guys so I don't imagine any of the recent hype will go to their heads.

As you can imagine since the 2 of them joined you all of us ladeside fans look out for your result
Hope you do go up as that will probably be the only way you will hold on to the 2 of them
A few of the lads bet on you to win the league and jamie to be top scorer at the start of the season so for all of them good luck for the rest of the season

They're okay aye.

Don't understand why we let quality players like Waleed Nadeem and Graeme Eaglesham go just to accommodate them though.
