Unbelievably, Airdrie manager jimmy boyle HASN'T ruled out an appeal against mcdonald red!

Just take your fucking medicine man!

From advertiser colins Twitter...
Speaking to JBoyle yesterday lunchtime, a possible appeal (which would cost £500) wasn't ruled out. Would be surprised if they did+then won.

Prunty does have form for play acting, so I can understand if PJ was annoyed with that.

What a stupid thing to say.

Boyle's a c**t so it's hardly surprising.

Clearly Boyle doesn't understand the phrase 'throwing good money after bad'..... Seems pretty pointless to me - whilst I wasnt there the highlights seem pretty damning. I'd imagine its all bluster tbh, I can't see even Boyle pissing away £500 on a trialist

what has he done? to be honest I haven't seen that side of him while he has been with us

I was never a fan when he was with us. A bit powder puff, appeared happy to go to ground a bit too easily. His roll on Saturday was a bit OTT, hardly the reaction of someone with a genuine injury. First actions are usually to curl up/put the arms up to protect the head, not roll another 10 yards.
The BBC will lie to you. Where they cannot lie they will misreport. What they cannot misreport they will ignore.

Get a grip of yourself, his head was clearly stamped on yet you're having a go a Prunty? Roll another 10 yards! Nae bother.

Sheriff Robert Dickson told him: "You might be a good footballer, but you are nothing more than a nasty pervert."

Lithgow's indiscretions aside, he was the best player on the park on Saturday. I would suggest that if we had a centre half who could attack a ball in the air properly, we wouldn't have lost that game and we'd be in a better position than we are.

Yes, he did play well. Perhaps if he was not a sex offender he could be playing at a higher level.
Or at Hearts.

Airdrie 2 - 3 Dumbarton
East Fife players were said to be "covered in chicken tikka and potatoes" after a fracas in the cafeteria during an Irish Sea crossing.

aye, he's banned from being listed for 2 matches (I'm assuming 2) therefore the next two Airdrie matches (or if they cancel his trial the next two matches where he could potentially have been listed) have to be missed

Latest on this is, he has signed a deal, but with us being short in defence he will play the next 2 games as trialist before registering and serving the two match ban

 if there's not a confusing rule it just isnt scottish football

I take exception to that. Just because I'm a nasty pervert, doesn't mean that all Sons are.

You mean you can play as a trialist even if you are banned ???
Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me ?

Yup the ban is only effective when he signs and is registered. In a way it makes sense in terms of trying to get footballers employment.
We hate Airdrie more than you

Thats quite interesting

Out of curiosity can you release a player then re-sign him as a trialist at a later point in the season? As that could be a sneaky way of getting around bans at the tail end of the season....

no,

A player whose registration with a club is transferred, cancelled, lapses or
expires shall not subsequently be re-registered or play as a trialist in terms
of Rule 122 for that club, within a period of twelve months from the date of
transfer, cancellation, lapse or expiry, except with the prior consent of the
Board.

Like it or not it was a hand ball, and as a registered sex offender he should know better than to handle his baws. That's what got him into bother in the first place...

Didn't see the stamp, hopefully it'll be in the footage. I won't hold my breath though. Thought the challenge on the keeper was reckless and worth a red.
While the ref was a bombscare, he can't be blamed (entirely). I thought we had enough chances to win two games, we only have ourselves to blame on that score.

Our keeper didn't help either, I did hope when he was took down that his game was over. Sadly it wasn't.

Maybe you should do your homework. Lithgow is no longer a registered sex offender.
