Why don't you "do one", given you're on the Junior section of the board?

Hi, just so you know - if you've given the Bot 50% of the gate then you've overpaid them. Its a 60/40 split in the cup.
Beware the curse of drs in 2012!

Yes back to your own forum and if when you spout shite at least get it accurate. The split for all cottish Cup Ganes is 60/40 in favour of the home team and if I was Auchinlech I would not be spending any money from the gate untill it was in the bank
Form is temporary
Class is permanent

Do the SFA not take 20% then it's 60/40 less of course the fines for being naughty.

The Scottish Premier League Board met this evening to consider the alleged failure by Heart of Midlothian FC to comply with the terms of the order made by the SPL on 4 January 2012 that the club pay the January wages due to the relevant players on the due date of 16 January 2012. As a result, Heart of Midlothian FC are being charged under SPL Rule A3.1 with failing to behave with the utmost good faith to the SPL. A hearing date will be notified to the club in due course.
Hearts are in deep trouble.
To "just been found guilty as charged".
If you must practice your fuckwittery, please confine it to the SPL forum threads where it belongs with the rest of the bibdribblers. And please take Paulo Sergio with you on the way back, you know he's not allowed out on his own.

after every scottish cup cup game the home team have an official sfa audit sheet which consists of,,
the attendance at the game and total gate receipts etc
both treasurers sign this to there satisfaction witnessed by an sfa official
home team claim 60% to cover cost of policing etc
the home team signs a cheque to the 40% of that total
the home team claim costs of hospitality to the away team
the away team receive a payment from the sfa within 28 days for reaching the round stage minus any fines for dissent
they also have there travel expenses met by the sfa,,,,,,,,,,,,any shortfalls(bounced cheques etc) would be covered by the sfa,,talbot will have there
money by now ,,or im sure we would have heard otherwise

It doesn't come through the SFA. It comes from the opposing club. Usual practice is to pay within a fortnight but technically it's due immediately.
FuzzyBear, on 17 January 2012 - 14:19, said:
Technically he's correct. The Scottish Cup rules actually state that the share of the gate should be paid on the day in cash unless there is an agreement to the contrary.
drs, on 17 January 2012 - 16:33, said:
Being really pedantic, at this stage in the competition, the SFA get a 5% levy, the host club gets 20% and the balance is split 50/50 which in effect means the away team actually get 37.5% of the total net of VAT.

That may be what happens in the really early stages, it's not quite what happens once the big boys are involved. The returns at this stage are not signed by both clubs and no SFA official goes near them. Split of gate is as discussed above (not quite 60/40). There are no claims for hospitality and the SFA do not meet travel expenses after Round 2, though there is a £400 gate guarantee from that stage to the away side.
