Surely we dont consider ourselves as Big Time Charlies who will win every game we play. We are still ahead of the pack and should be able to stay there as long as we get behind the boys week in, week out.

Well said - on another day we would have scored 3 or 4. The players are giving their all and you could see how annoyed they were after the game. They'll be fired up for the Albion game and I wouldn't be surprised if we score a few in that game.

over a season there will be times when they dont go in but you just get through it and stick to the plan.

As you say Ally were still 5 points clear and 13 ahead of 3rd place i'm sure everyone would have taken that at the start of the season. As mentioned we can't expect to win every week.
Sure it was frustrating to lose on Saturday but I would have been more worried if we had got beat and hadn't created any chances, on another day we would have scored a few but it was just one of those days. Just as we are fighting for the title Forfar are fighting to stay in division so it was always going to be a hard game at a ground where we don't have a great record.

Felt sorry for Toorie on sat - its not easy to come on in that position when you are 1 down. Thought Lyle was poor if im honest - Lewis in first half lead that line really well again and Mckenzie superb thought linton at left back had a really good game also with some good deliveries.natch Robbo was superb as well.
Forfar well emmmm ground out a great 3pts for themselves - their gk made some crucial saves (the one in first min was a great save) - fair play to them if we were bottom of league we would be grinding out that game.
Sharpen up on our finishing and teams will need to score 4 or 5 to draw or beat us

Conditions did not favour a passing game so it was always going to be difficult for Cowden but there weren't many folk at the game on Saturday expecting a Forfar win. It was a bit similar to the home game against Dumbarton again spoiled by the wind. What I found frustrating was even with the wind behind us in the first half (and it was some wind) we never had one shot from distance. So what if someone misses by a mile at least they are having a go.

True, way our finishing us sometimes however we need to walk the ball in....lol. I thought we played really well in the first half. Mckenzie and robbo the standouts (again)Lewis not far behind.
couple of breaks here or there didnt go for us. The one gripe I would have is that we dont attack the ball well enough from corners/decent crosses.
the wind can f**k off now for the season pls.

A good game to try and get over it on Saturday and we must go with our strongest XI as it's vital we get back to winning ways!
Still 5 points clear!

Sadly im not Cameron but he must know his ideal line up. Go with what we know works.
Flynn
Cowan Armstrong Mbu Adamson
Robertson Cameron/O'Brien
McKenzie Ramsay Linton
Stewart
Subs from: Beast, Brett, Lyle, Cusack, Coult, Winter, O'Brien
Still a very strong starting XI. Tried and proven. New lads need to earn a start, haven't done so far. Could have done with an out and out wide man alas.

Sure Cowden will win the league by a good few points but you are hardly Barcelona so the odd defeat is going to happen!

Agreed - a big loss on Saturday was no Adamson which meant Linton couldn't be forward as much wipping crosses in. Fairly sure a lot of our chances in the 2nd half came from Linton pushing up.

Cowan
Joe
Chopper
Adamson
Linton
Robbo

Mackenzie

Coults
A know the formation has served us well but am not a 1 up top person a would always play 2up,think coults/Stewart deserve a run out from the start and a wid play Stewart in the hole behind coults, hate to leave obrien out as he's top class but Joe/chopper are prob the best pairing in the league,am certain that midfield 4 wid more than hold it's own against anyone in the league,CC form has been poor for a little while now and think he can be as good an influence from the touchline, but if we stick to same formation ad drop coults and put obrien in midfeild

fair comment, both teams may be equally as good
