"A north football star smashed a window to get into his house after a night out – but broke into the wrong property.

Ross County midfielder Rocco Quinn mistook 7 Inshes Mews in Inverness for his own home a few doors away at number 11.

Within minutes, the former Celtic player found himself being tackled by the police in an upstairs bedroom of a neighbour's house and taken away in handcuffs."

What a disgrace. Hopefully he is hounded out of the area by his neighbours and County do the decent thing and sack him.

It may sound slightly unbelievable but I was involved in a scenario very similar to this IN DINGWALL whilst a student. No police involved but I did wonder later if there was an old bird lying upstairs in bed shiteing herself as we helped ourselves to food and drink - as we had been told to do as we waited for the rest of the party, including the host to arrive. It was only the next day we discovered we had been in old Evanton road instead of old Evanton place or some similar mix up.

To be honest, I thought this was hilarious. Shame for the folk who's house it was, but hopefully they can see the funny side of it and are suitably recompensed for all damage. The lad has apologised and there was absolutely no malice, he was just wasted and made a p***k of himself. He'll also be more than suitably embarrassed!!

This is also on the "Top of the League thread" as we found it funny (and are top of the league Posted Image).

Here Tadénator, I'd rather be a gypo than a tink Posted Image

"Ross County FC Gypsies"

Careful, you might be hunted down for being racist.

It's hilarious, he made an arse of himself, move along. Why are you so bothered, was it your house?

I think he deserves a song in his name after this.

Its just a chant from County - Caley games... you call us Gypo's, we sing we'd rather be a gypo than a tink. Dont start a game you dont want to play :P

Much more importantly, that 'gif' looks like Tokely's trying to suck someone off. He has has the open mouth, big ears and pouting motion a redneck rapist dreams of.

I imagine

 You're trying too hard there youngster.

Daft man makes mistake when a wee bit lubricated. So long as he pays for the window he smashed, no big deal.

The entire board have been praying for him, holding vigils in the stadium chapel. We worry for his soul.

Probably not the first time 7 Inshes has been claimed to be 11.

Since the house is in Inverness... He was just trying to fit in with the locals !

Must be a slow news day when this has been front page headlines....

I think it's fair to say most of the County fans knew about it before the Cup match against Stenhousemuir...

He's paid for the damage, he ment no malice, and I guess will be mortified by the coverage it's got now.

I very much doubt any ICT fans are able to afford a house in Wester Inshes.

Ah it was in Inverness. I wondered why it didn't read 'a Ross County player broke into the wrong caravan....'

"Some beer, some gin, he's on your wheelie bin it's Rocco Quinn, Rocco Quinn!
Some shots, some Grouse, he's breaking into your house, it's Rocco Quinn, Rocco Quinn!"

To be sung soon at a football stadium near you.
