Isn't it odd. Our penalty was actually a foul outside the box. I know it was outside the box because our highlights, shot from the opposite side of the park, quite clearly show that it was. However, I've watched the Livi highlights twice now and that's pretty much where I was sitting during the game too. It looked a clear penalty to me at the time and it looks one on the Livi highlights too. Funny how the camera angle can change so much what you see.

I don't think Livi were helped actually by the faintness of their own pitch lining.

No. Having watched the Livy highlights, its even more clear that Rusell sees he's lost possession and throws himself to the floor. Reids arm was across him, nothing more. Still, probably, a foul but never a booking.

I still think the foul looked like it was outside the box, but I know what you mean. Had I seen the Livy highlights first Im not sure I would have actually noticed. Its true what you say about camera angles changing things. Initially, I thought Reillys chance was the easier and Smilies a more difficult half chance, but actually it was the other way around.

Persistent fouling time and again even after his first booking. He was lucky he lasted so long and McGuffie was lucky to still be on the pitch to take the penalty.
