So in the wake of Ricky Foster's claims about the standard of the SPL and the standard of the Championship i welcome you to tell me what you reckon the strongest SPL 11 would be, and what the strongest Championship 11 would be... Begin!

Enckleman
Mark Wilson, Bocanegra, Webster, Izzaguirre
Davis, Kayal, McGowan, Naismith
Hooper, O'Connor
v
Green
Rosenior, Ridgewell, Hudson, Arca
Burke, Noble, Robson, Whittingham
McCormack, Lambert
To be honest, I don't think there is much between those 2 teams, although there is a hell of a lot of room for argument in both 11's.

You said it. That championship side is no where near the best 11 players.

Bocanegra is infinately superior to Goian, he is a superb defender. As for Rogne in there.

Nolan and Lambert would rip any SPL defence.
Boom.
Boom.

I would guess a fair number of the people who slate the Championship don't watch much of it.

Don't really watch Championship football, but our 11 would pump their 11

League 1/2 yes, but a lot of very gifted players in the Championship.

Why not? The only three celtic players that are proper decent are Rogne, the left back and the wanyama.
Agreed. Read somewhere that Rogne's record of clean sheets in last 20 or so games for Celtic is very impressive - don't have the stat to hand, if anyone knows where to find such a thing...

SPL:
Kello
Matthews Bocanegra Goian Izzaguire
Naismith Davis Wanyama Forrest
Jelavic Hooper
Kello's the only non-Old Firm player I can justify including in this list as McGregor is so over-rated it's obscene and I've never been wholly convinced by Forster.
I couldn't guess a Championship XI as I have absolutely no interest in that league but I would find it hard to believe the team above would fail to beat them.

I put Matthews in my SPL 11, but he's not really good, but neither is Whittaker, broadfoot etc. Any others that I'm missing? Foster would possibly have got the nod from me before his move.

It is beyond laughable that people think it's a certainty that an SPL XI would beat a Championship XI. If anything, the opposite is true.

You got me. The SPL isn't actually completely lacking in quality.

Leaving spin and bitterness at the door. You know I know and basically everyone knows that the leaders of the SPL are better than the leaders of the Championship. However, if its shiny tv production and artificial sound on the tele than hands down the championship. Hey, it's a good league but look at the goal scorers every week. You will see Livingston, QOTS, St Albion level players really shine at this level. They wouldn't in the SPL and certainly not the premiership.
