Why are there so many changes in management at EOS Clubs ?Is there too much pressure on them from their Club Committee?.Do the Managers have unrealistic expectations? Do the guys in charge just have a general disen'chantment about the time they give up and the rewards that do or dont come with the efforts they put in? Why do Clubs think their management team are not up to scratch after less than a season in charge. ( is it now 8 changes in the last year in the Premier alone ?) Just wondered what people's thoughts were?

Are there really a disproprtionate amount of changes? Apart from Ferguson and Wenger, how safe are managers' jobs in the EPL?
If we do accept your premise, I would imagine that as most managers don't get paid much, or at all, their patience threshold is pretty low - if players cannot be bothered to knuckle down then they head somewhere where they reckon they'll be listened to, or go down the pub instead. Conversely, if a club does not have to compensate a manager, a wee string of bad results leads to them sacking him, as it's not costing them anything to do so. Of course, it's all short term nonsense, but that's sport nowadays.
Club Licensing should change this as if a club has just spent a few grand on putting their coaching staff through a series of coaching courses to allow them to get a licence, then they will want to hold on to them. However, this may give more power to the qualified coaches and they may move around knowing that they are eminently employable.

Could the curse of Spartans strike for a 3rd week on the trot?
Played Vale of L, end of the game the manager is gone.
Played WW, end of the game the manager is gone.
Next Saturday we play Selkirk, I bet Michael McKinnon is shitting himself?
Just an opinion (daft I know) so keep yer troosahs on BUT...

Was your management team not ''sacked'' this season but used their 12 month notice in their contact card.....and that's after winning everything that could be won last year apart from the Scottish Cup

In 16 years of watching City I don't think we've sacked a manager as such, mostly they resign (although some may have been handed the service revolver and told to go into the back room and get on with it).
We're a patient lot really.... except for me! John and Gary OUT unless they add to the trophy haul this season!!

Edinburgh City Football Club-
trophy grabbing upstarts since 2011!
