Can`t believe the club refused us permission to use our collection buckets OUTSIDE the ground today!!!!! What are they playing at

Outside the ground is a public place. You should have told them to mind their own business.

Would you not technically need a licence if you're unofficially collecting money?

Never made it to the game but by the sounds of it a draw was a fair result. Can't say I'm happy with going 2-0 down but at least the heads never went down and we did well to get two back. i'm just fed up with the fact Accies don't start playing till we're getting beat. If we came out all guns blazing from the first minute we would have alot more points on the board.

I know at Ross County, you actually need to ask permission in advance and they assign you a match day for a collection. Might be the same for Ayr.

Quite. That's precisely why Ayr haven't had any postponements due to their stadium falling to pieces during a slight gale.

We just tape off the centre of the stand (including the directors box...guess they had to mingle with the riff raff) and play on with a gaping hole in the roof.
Thankfully the action on the pitch is of such quality you don't even notice.

I think the conditions today were perfectly personified by either Cerny doing a sort of diving throw to put the ball out to his left back or one of Hamilton's players can't remember who it was attempting a throw in only for it to be blown back out for another throw about 5 yards up the pitch Posted Image

From what I hear Accies chose to shoot into the wind in the first half. f**k knows why.

Aye you swapped ends with us, we normally take a beasting when teams do that to us. So its safe to say I was a bit worried at kick off.
Although I think Billy Reid was probably expecting to score in the first half and play out an easy win in the second with the wind behind you.

After being 2-0 at half time it was good to see us hit back strongly in the 2nd half and get a point. The wind played its part and helped both teams in an entertaining game which saw redmond get his first accies goal since his loan to us from wigan.
