After Hibs crucial win at East End Park against the Pars. I hope we can win next week against St.Johnstone but it won't be easy. However St.Johnstone need a win to get back into 4th place and hope that Motherwell and Hearts lose. This will be a tough game for Hibs.

I'll go for 2-2.

After 2 wins in a row, this now becomes a must win game. We want to keep the momentum going. A Garry O'Connor dive and 3-2 win will do me.

I guess it would equally have been a must win game if we'd lost yesterday. Posted Image

Because we our performing under our financial means, (4th budget, 11th place) people tend to see our occasional wins as "turning points" in the last year or two. But with the team itself is not far under its potential. That means that we probably will be in the relegation dog fight till the end of the season and any real turning points won't be seen for at least a while. So I'd take any result from this game.

Got my ticket and I for one cannot wait. Hopefully Nutsy continues his clearout and adds some more fresh faces.

I can't believe I'm about to do this, but I predict a Hibs win. 2-1.

On paper, Hibs have a threatening look about them. Luckily, they are fucking shite. Retribution for their cheating will be swift and merciless.

Think Sandaza will run rings round the big huddie O'Hanlon, 2-1 Saints is unfortunately my prediction.

I hope George Francomb starts at RB, he was very composed and picked out the right passes in his debut. Hopefully that's the end of Michael Hart. I reckon we should start with Griffiths and Doyle upfront, with GOC coming on late-on if we need a goal. I'd also drop Sproule and put Wotherspoon at RM, because IS should simply never start any games, he's an impact player and it shows how far we've fallen that he's starting virtually every game for us.

Hibs win one game, against the worst team in the league and are world beaters all of a sudden.

You've got a high opinion of yourselves. Predicting a very narrow win against you makes us world beaters? Please!

Not at all, but usually hibs fans predict losses, after a narrow win against the worst team in the lague, your fans are predicting 3-1 wins against a team 5th in the league. I agree it could happen, but it was one game you won.

Sorry if I offended

If the Saints squad all shared the belief Widge seems to have in their abilities, we probably would be world beaters. Much rather Widge's attitude though than the doom mongers who always look to pick fault in players and performances.

We have a great away record, Hibs a woeful home one but the fact remains that they beat us in September when both of those statements were equally as true. From our point of view, there will likely still be a sense of injustice about that though, so hopefully we see a fired up Saints against a Hibs side that must have a bit more confidence about them after yesterday. I still don't think they have a great side or squad but there are dangerous players in there that need watched and that could well give them the edge over Dunfermline as the season progresses.

For us, the only decisions Lomas should really have to make are whether to use the same side and system as yesterday, or whether to return to 4-4-2 and subsequently, whether to restore Sheridan alongside Sandaza or keep with Haber and then in turn who plays on the right of midfield. Haber in a 4-4-2 away from home is probably a bit too attacking for us but Robertson hasn't played there for us IIRC and it isn't Moon's best position either. Finnigan isn't an option for me. Suppose he might have a new signing on board but would be wary about throwing a young player in away from home when we use such a disciplined system.
Fascists against Beatson.
