It got to the stage one of the Troon players got booked for saying to the ref "You're fucking joking there was nothing in that"

Hardly surprising he got booked for swearing at the ref and undermining his authority, is it.

Only time I saw that little w**k at a junior game he flashed 4 red cards in a game without a bad tackle in the whole game.

Got to the stage every time there was a nothing foul he showed a red card.

It got to the stage one of the Troon players got booked for saying to the ref "You're fucking joking there was nothing in that" and that was at a Beith player being sent off!

Still nobody can beat Sandy Miller for being over officious he even gets supporters a red card!

You do know that's a clear dissent booking, right?

It would depend on the context and tone but you can't have a situation where players are repeatedly swearing at you without any reproach.

Yes. Unless Sky go bankrupt, there is no way Italian football will ever challenge the Premiership again.

AC Milan 4 - 0 Arsenal : 16th February 2012.
Napoli 3 - 1 Chelsea : 21st February 2012

Of course I know the rules.

My point was that if an opposition player felt so strongly that the ref was making a c**t of the game when he was sending one of our players off it shows you how bad the little cretin is.

Is it hard to watch football in your ivory tower at St Mirren Park?

I'm sorry but this continues to be a ridiculous line.

Collum is barely in his 30s but he's already reffed important Old Firm derbies; international qualifiers including a France home fixture; European club ties including a Semi-Final of the Europa League; at least 2 Scottish Cup Semi-Finals and 1 League Cup Semi-Final (has he done a Final yet?); and the Final of the Euro U19s.

He's clearly a top-quality referee, and already of continental repute.

He's so good he manages to give penalties that he hasn't even seen.

Don't rate him in the slightest and to make it big all you have to do is stick to the exact letter of the law, display no common sense and toe the SFA line.

If you think he's a great ref then fine I for 1 am just glad my team doesn't have to suffer the little prat on a Saturday.

Think you and Mr ivory tower just come on our forum to vent your dislike of Junior football and vent the so called superiority of the predictable senior leagues.

And the UEFA line and the FIFA line presumably? It's naieve bordering upon farcical to suggest that he's reached the levels he has since he 'toes-the-line' more than anyone else has. It's clearly since, whatever you think of him, he's a talented referee. They're looking for the best refs they can find, so high-profile games can be reffed as best as possible.

Invented and errant tosh.

That's bullshit though, players always try and undermine the referee in situations like that. I remember in a Hearts Killie game Black committed a horrific tackle, was rightly sent off and Pascali was consoling him saying it wasn't a red card. The referee in question did nothing wrong, it was cynical tactics employed by the player in question.

This isn't the first time that has been levelled at me, it appears junior fans have a real chip on their shoulder about this. I have never even mentioned St. Mirren in this forum, it has no bearing whatsoever on what I am posting. The only posts I really make are about referees - it couldn't have less to do with St. Mirren.

Code : Actually doing your job. How about you go into your work, ignore the laws and say "nah boss f**k your rules, I'm employing ma common sense." See how it goes.

Except I have never said anything to indicate I dislike (or have any feelings towards) junior football. And there is nothing "superior" about Berwick.
