dont go to many pollok games but saw him against renfrew in the cup last season and he wasnt great maybe an off day . If he does go to glens they must have a huge squad they seem to be getting new players all the time .If only thistle were so lucky lol. good luck to him anyway!

We currently have 21 registered players, I don't think that's unusually high.

I don't think so either. Certainly in days of yore when you only had 2,3 or 5 subs it was large, but with 18 stripped on a matchday I don't think 21 is overly large.

A few players have passed through the club in the last year or so, for example John Stirling, Mark Wilson, Jack Henry, Allan Evans and Matt McGinley all had relatively short spells at the club this season. These players moving on and being replaced perhaps makes it look like we have a huge squad. But I'd be surprised if we were different to most clubs.

Beith have signed ex Berwick goalkeeper Mark Peat and midfielder Ryan Holmes both of whom apparently played ino our friendly against Linlithgow.

Defender Dean Keenan, who was released at the end of his contract last week by Ayr United after 4 years at the club, has signed for Junior side Troon.

Keenan had not featured for the Honest Men since October 2010 due to a knee injury and a comeback bid on loan at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy earlier this season stalled when the 26 year old required further surgery.

I'm surprised he has signed for Troon. Unless that's his local team.
I understood he was giving up playing altogether to concentrate on his work.
It's strange the the 'Roy' didn't take an option on him. He's a good player, and I was certainly impressed with him during the few games he played with us.
Unless JL feels we now have plenty of cover in that position.

Thomas Docherty has signed back up for Greenock Juniors according to the local newspaper today. The competition should be good for our club as Tommy can play in various positions.
