After the success of the summer 2011 thread, I thought it best to start a new one for 2012, as it's hardly "summer 2011" anymore. 8)

So here goes, post all your transfer gossip, factual or speculation, in here please. :)

Did any of them play against Beith last week or have they just signed for you?

As per another thread - John Craig, Derek McCulloch and John Spence have all left Beith to join Hurlford.

Gary Lynn has left Beith and signed for Cumnock.

He hasn't featured for us this season. I think it was made clear when Easton got the job in the Summer that he was not part of his plans. He hasn't been seen since. Was quite poor in his short spell at us. In my opinion he thought he was better than he actually was and was very slow as well. Got dropped towards the end of last season and didn't feature much in the last 6 to 8 games from memory.

He's certainly Junior quality, but unfortunately just another player who's allegience was to Richardson and Mitchell, rather than the 'Roy'.
Chose to go amateur, as did a few of his team mates. :bairn
...frightening, and lightening fast was he .....
you never saw, a man outdraw,
The man from Adamslie!

You can go back in history where players all leave a club because a management team have left , its not unusual in the junior game

Rutherglen Glencairn have signed central midfielder Jim Burnett, previously with Blantyre Victoria and St Roch's. Jim, 29 years old, has been out of the junior game for almost 6 years due to service in the navy, but previously played under manager Willie Harvey at Blantyre, and has been training with Glencairn for a number of weeks.

This guy played some games for Hamilton FPs last season. I only saw one of his appearances and he looked pretty average, though, tbf, that could have been down to his lack of games.
I understood that he had a few years still to serve and, if so, how will this affect his availability for the Glens ?

He's signed till the end of the season, and we'll see what happens thereafter. He has some strong competition for a place in central midfield against Andy McClay, Brian Welsh, Matt Flynn amd Joe McAlpine.

Beith had a look at talbot bryan young but price tag 6/7k was to much .How about swap deal kenny mclean for gryan young beith boys ? talbot are desperate for a striker , in saying that they will probably still score a fair amount of goals!
