As for BTUs new signature - why didn't you stand up for yourself in public either at meeting, in bar or at ground. Clearly you had to wait to run home to get to your keyboard to insult Trust members - well done, that will be a few of us leaving the Trust.

I wouldn't worry yourself too much, i'll be doing that myself to save others the hassle.

This club and its fans would be a psychologists dream. Everyone is suspisious of one another and a lot of people just hate each other. Hardly anyone can handle a differing opinion, and tbh I probably come across the same on here. Thankfully i think I'm getting to the couldn't give a flying f**k stage now. It's unbelievable what kind of things upset people. Just going to try and concentrate on what happens on the pitch.

Is the trust a bunch of school kids? Cos this is all extremely childish. Act your age.

My highlight today with the exception of a sublime strike from Lee Currie had to be the wonder save Jamie the green destroyer Barclay pulled off late on. Great seeing him produce some quality saves today, it'll do him the world of good.

Aye brilliant free kick and save too. Probably the best quality game ive seen in a long long time at this level.

That was the best game of the season by a country mile. Stranraer are the best opposition we have faced they had pace and movement up front but were open to the counter attack and we came close to exploiting that.

As for BTUs new signature - why didn't you stand up for yourself in public either at meeting, in bar or at ground. Clearly you had to wait to run home to get to your keyboard to insult Trust members - well done, that will be a few of us leaving the Trust.

You've obviously failed to read the topic on BTU's blog, which is simply about why he has set up the blog itself... I suggest you take a look.
He is probably one of the most open minded fans the club actually has - and in more ways than one, his posts & write-ups actually make sense compared to all the absolute shite you see on here.

He is entitled to an opinion, let him have it.

It's not about the right's or wrongs about having an opinion. The point is if you are on the board of something like the trust you have to think about what you say on public forums and be aware that it may reflect on the organisation. Opinions are like arseholes everyone has one and unfortunately BRFC has too much off both. And what you certainly don't do in public is then describe the members of your organisation as fuckwits.

You're right, but I really can't be bothered with it all anymore. Sick of the hassle being involved in anything to do with BRFC brings. I covered it the other day in the blog. I just want to go along to the games and enjoy myself now, have the patter on here or on the blog, whatever. I'm not going to sit and be the problem, i'm not Jimmy Crease (had to get a dig in, for the crack like). I'll leave and then in honesty everyone is probably happier. The only reason I was on the trust board was to try advance the club and my personal view, modernise it, which is something that needs to be done to secure the long-term future of it. Instead it seems i'm not solving problems but creating them. If that's the case, there's no point in me being around.

On the game itself I thought it was a decent game but not quite as good as some are saying. Thought we (again) could have won it with the amount of chances created but the chance conversion remains the problem. Agree that Barclay played well, one of his saves was fucking unreal. Lee Currie's free kick was a belter too, i'd encourage anyone to go on Youtube and look at it.

Really really good game yesterday - though I thought the Queen's park game was better (probably because we won). Somehow we need to convert these displays into wins, which means plugging the few weaknesses in the team. Yesterday, Walker and Gray were the disappointments, the former getting caught out of position more than once (though he otherwise played quite well), and the latter just not being strong and composed enough to turn half chances into goals. We are just a few minor adjustments away from being as good a team as I've seen at Shielfield for many many years. Best yesterday were Townsley and Notman. Notman was a class above everyone else in the first half.

At the Trust AGM, questions were asked about getting more people into the ground to watch the Dream Team, well I hope that Keith Hamblin bigs this match up on the back page of the Tiser, it was geat entertainment and the team gives 110% every game under Yano. Since he took over, most games have been more entertaining than the dross you often get on Sky, and the Tiser needs to repeatedly say so.

As for BTU, this is a public forum with the clue in the title. It's about terrace banter over a pie and a cup of scalding hot Bovril, (or over a pint in the pub). You are entitled to your personal opinions, and your own style, same as everyone else. Just make it plain on your blog that the views expressed are not necessarily those of the Trust, and job done. I don't always agree with you, but that's fair enough. Much more important is that you are one of the few young people to bother with the club in all my years in the Ducket. Politics and image really do get on my tits.

BTU....you and I have never seen eye to eye (like most on here) but I have to sympathise with you........what you were/are trying to achieve is spot on but I feel you are pissing against the wind, people do not like change and that is needed to get some advancing/modernisation at the club/Trust.

Keep the blog going,it is a pleasure to read.

Good post. Not every criticism should be seen as trouble making either. When I had a blast at Crease and the lack of change at the start of the season, I wasn't trying to 'stop people buying season tickets' as was the claim. I was offering my opinion, which happened to be correct as we saw within 3 months.

When I criticise the terrible new website, it's for a reason. Others may disagree, that's fine, but to claim it as pointless trouble making is ridiculous. Everyone used to have a go at the old website pre-takeover. I don't see the difference. I'm thinking about the issue I'm talking about, it doesn't matter who's in charge. Praise where praise is due, criticism where that's due, and an understanding everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :)

As I said though, it's hardly worth commenting as nobody can take constructive criticism.

Like you say it is all on opinions? For what it is worth I like the new site. Ok it maybe does not have the instant eye appeal but the information contained is very good. I would rather have this.
