Just read up about them in World Soccer, and they have basically ignored FIFA's eligibility rules and been allowed to get away with it by the CAF. absolutely,its great to see small nations getting the chance to host things but clearly EGs oil revenues havent just been used to pay for tournament infrastructure.
ill be interested to see if they get more than the usual host nations decisions frommatch officials too,im afraid i dont see this being a clean tournament

equitorial guinea had a man playing for them at the women's world cup so i don't think they have much respect for the concept of eligibilty.

i heard there was a crush and a near riot outside the game today? i wasn't aware liverpool was in africa.

Mon Angola!!! Only because my most favourite of junior players (Jose Quitongo) originates from Luanda. If they win it then i will find his home and run around it shouting "Your dad got eaten by a gorilla", with nothing more than a gorilla mask to hide my identity.

Senegal bust my coupon as well.

Highlight of the game was the Zambia goalie catching the ball way outside his box. You only get that kind of thing in the ACN. Shame all 4 goalies thus far have been in shorts and not tracky bottoms.

I thought this was on ESPN?
