I think the goal was ok but we should probably have had a pen - maybe the big fella's overreaction at other challenges may have cost him. Stirling should have been out of sight on first half chances but another ten minutes and I'd have bet on us. Why can't we show that attitude from the kick-off?

"Trying to get out of the way" doesn't in any shape or form preclude him from potentially interfering with play.

The ball was going into the net. Only way he could interfere would be to stop it going into the net or block a player trying to stop it going into the net. Neither happened - goal awarded.

I missed the game - can someone tell me the circumstances of Ciaran Donnelly's substitution?

Pretty sure he was injured Bold - didn't see how it happened and he didn't limp off but when he got the dugout you could see that there was some concern over an injury.
Chris Boyle stepped back to fill in at LB with Ryan McStay taking over in midfield - actually I would have brough him on anyway as there was a distint lack of composure on the ball on Saturday from our midfielders - he at least lifted his head and looked for a pass rather than lumping it up the park.
Anyone know how many games Gemmill will miss now?

Concerning. And no sign of Barry Russell reappearing. Let's assume Donnelly, Stevenson and Gemmill are all out for next week: how do we shape up? I note that Andy Scott wasn't on the bench on Saturday. If Chris Boyle goes to LB, does that provide an opportunity for him, or will Chris Hamilton have to find his boots?
