Well after the cup distraction it's back to the more important league games. Same team that started Saturday as we don't have many options now the loan players are away. Another couple of signings in attacking areas is needed and hopefully O'Brien is back to fitness soon.

Tough game.

Some of the teams who weren't doing so well are now playing much better.

Forfar and Stirling. Stirling started off like a steam train. Forfar havent won in something like 11. East Fife also started a lot better than they are playing now.

Forfar have been poor all season, surely the worst team we've played.
Brechin are playing better as are Dumbarton, Albion Rovers don't know about Airdrie, we'll find out Saturday. Even Stirling had a good result against Stenny.
Just hope CC can lift the spirits after Saturday and we can get a couple of decent loanees in.

This game will not be 0-0 nor boring! Goals galore! At both ends! Home win 3-2.
Champions of Division 3 2010-2011, well chuffed!

When is the last time YOUR team won at IBROX in the league verses the treble winners?!

To be called a idiot from other idiots is hardly an insult, it is just an observation from ones who know too little.

wouldnt say forfar are the worst team ive seen - they drew with us this season???
anyhow on to the game - real tricky one for us Airdrie have a quality striker in the lad donnelly - If we can defend well and keep things tight as well as playing a high tempo attacking game we should create chances against a poor defence certainly the worst I have seen SO FAR this season.
Same team im sure.As CTID says less options now both loans players away - Coult did superb when he came on sat - However think Mickey will continue with same team - hope we can get even 100-200 more locals through the gate even that extra 100 should make a diff.

Some fans away to the dam this saturday so will miss game- another one Vince is missing!!!!!!

Think we will be too good for them can't see us getting beat, would like to see coults/Stewart up top from the start,CC looks heavy legged on these heavy pitches last 5/6 games so mite leave himself out, think Mackenzie, robbo,Ramsay,Linton(lo poor sat)wid more than hold their own against any other midfield in the league, our defence is solid and chopper/Joe is best pairing in the league(lo obrien with either is just as strong, but before any backlash about not changing formation etc this is just my opinion and I'm not looking to get into another debate abt the pro's/cons of systems, just feel coults deserves a crack from start with Stewart to see how they pair up together in a match.

Agreed. He said on Twitter that he had the flu so that might account for the below standard shift.

Havent been to cowdens ground before but i have heard its an absolute shitehole Posted Image looking forward to it but dont expect anything from the game to be honest. we need a few wins if we want to finish in a playoff spot at the end of the season and after this we have 2 home games vs dumbarton and stirling where we should be looking to take 6 points. a draw in this game wouldn't be a disaster for Airdrie but this game could go either way it depends what Airdrie turns up

Donnelly is going to need to score atleast 4 I reckon if we are going to win this. Hopefully he takes his goal count to more than 25 this weekend.
