Now that cup nonsense is out the way we can concentrate on the league again.
We had a superb win over the Fifers earlier in the season but Bayview is always a difficult place to go.
I also heard a rumour we may be signing a former SPL striker this week.

Agreed 100% L23. I hope this former SPL striker is fit and ready for action, we need strengthen the the defence and the bench ASAP too.
East Fife away is a bit of a graveyard for us, we need to change this to keep on the coat tails of Cowden....
Champions of Division 3 2010-2011, well chuffed!
When is the last time YOUR team won at IBROX in the league verses the treble winners?!
To be called a idiot from other idiots is hardly an insult, it is just an observation from ones who know too little.

I wouldn't worry too much. This is the worst EF team i've seen in quite a while so easy win for the Smokies.

Interesting.. any idea what kind of striker it will be?
Anyone watched East Fife match against Falkirk - they looked any better compared to their match against Cowdenbeath?

Any faith I had restored in this team was quickly squashed by another gutless display at Cowden.
Working this weekend so wont be there to watch us being gubbed again and go down with a whimper.
0-3.

fair to judge east fife was poor in that match, just keep in mind they had not played a match for over a month at that day... hard odds when you visit the best side in the league..

Will be a tough game to be sure but I'm hopeful that we can get something out of this one.
I liked the look of McCormack at Falkirk and would pair him up with Stevie C in central defence. Hissy and Wallace up top should prove a handful. The key to our success will be in the middle of the park where we have struggled in recent weeks. I'd go with Linn, Muir, Smith and Johnstone...

Sloan in midfield every Saturday, if fit.
We could've done with Lloyd Young in the middle mind you. Montrose FC's gain.

hehe, with all do respect for Arbroath - cowden seems stronger imo...
I am very surprised by Arbroath this season... really fear, for Arbroath, that Swankie could be lost for you lads eventually... decent player from what I have seen.

Cowden are very strong, but Arbroath are not a one man team for sure. The cup has been a distraction, but what a distraction! Now gone and almost forgotten! Apart from the £120k+ banked of course

I got to agree with that Ecto, East Fife have signed a couple of players recently and did ok verses Falkirk in the cup, so I expect a greatly improved performance from the Fifers.

Aye, one of my mates plays for the U19's and says Colin Samuel is training with us, not bad just hope he is fit. Can see us getting a win here, won't be easy though, as usual.
Key players were injured, and zander diamond wasn't.

Any good? I mean, you already have decent attack with Swankie and Doris.. why not take a good defender in?

Can? Yes.
Will? Who knows. Hopefully not.
