Just been reading about QPRs winless run in the FA Cup...

Quote

QPR's winless run in the FA Cup dates back to 17 January 2001, when they won 2-1 against Luton in a third-round replay. Since then, they have fallen at the first hurdle every time, including losing on penalties in the first round to Unibond League team Vauxhall Motors in November 2002

Are there any teams in Scotland that can match that sort of record in the Scottish Cup or even League Cup?

We went from 1980 to 1998 without winning a Scottish Cup tie at the first time of asking, and 1989 to 1998 without winning a tie at all. The game we did eventually win was a 2-1 win at Arbroath in which we ended up with 8 men.
Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch.

Yesterday's 1-0 against Partick was our first since the semi-final win against Aberdeen in 2008.
Look at you. You're a slippery genius!

Since joining the SFL in 2000, Elgin City went 18 ties in all three cup competitions without progressing until 6 August 2006 when they beat Arbroath 1-0 in the League Cup. They won their first round in the Challenge Cup the following weekend 2-0 against Stenhousemuir and beat Buckie 1-0 to go through in the Scottish Cup in the same season.

A replay against Albion Rovers in 2001-02 takes it up to nineteen matches without a victory as a league club.

Their only appearance in the Scottish Cup proper as a non league club since 1990 was a 3-0 home loss to Whitehill Welfare in 1996-97.

Don't think anything can "top" getting eliminated from the League Cup on penalties in seven successive seasons...
The score remains 4-1 and counting...
