Good win for United in the Scottish Cup against Livingston. Ayr haven't won a League game since November (Raith Rovers away) while Falkirk have had an impressing run of form, not losing a game since November (Dundee away). Unfortunately looks like a Falkirk win is on the cards.

Ahh the warmup for the league cup final. Still a bit annoyed about that Higgy goal at Ayr, especially when you see we are 3 points behind County.

ross county remain on 36

were ross county supposed to have a point taken away from them
were you supposed to get 4 points for this 1 game

You could always put your profit from the "banker bet home win" in the Livi -v- Ayr game on Falkirk VT...oh wait

You were told before, Ayr are capable of winning when least expected and often do - would you listen ?

Anyway, to the game, Ayr would have to be at their best to get anything from this game, something we haven't seen since we last played Falkirk. We finished that game with 10 men and would've won it IMO with 11 men on the park.

A big ask to win at TFS but it's not impossible.

Reminds me of the season both Ayr and Partick met in the league prior to both clubs meeting the OF the following week in the cup semi at Hampden - that game was dire, nobody would tackle - I think it ended in a pre-arranged draw, would take the same on Saturday

If we can tie up Farid and leave him in a cupboard somewhere we'll have a chance but he appears to be on fire at the moment. I heard yesterday that he's scored against 14 of the 16 teams he's faced this season?
On paper it's a 3-0 Falkirk, but I think we might surprise a few people and snatch a point with the confidence we should take from winning away at Livi yesterday.
