Fa Cup and Scottish Cup this weekend...
Wigan are 11/8 away to Swindon. Wigan may be struggling in the Premier League and Swindon are currently in the play-off's in League 2, but surely that price is too big for a side 3 divisions above?
Other games that caught my eye:
Millwall 5/6 at Dagenham & Redbridge
Bolton 8/11 at Macclesfield
QPR 13/8 at MK Dons

I'm thinking Southend or Crewe but that's for my 6G stuff.
I was looking earlier, 5 of the Scottish cup ties all at -1 was bringing in odds of about 25.86. Think it was Dundee Utd, Falkirk, Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Ross County. I might stick a couple of quid on those or maybe 1 on each of the fourfolds. Might drop one or two and make a nice treble. Not sure, might just wait and see for the squads to see how seriously they're taking them.

Cowdenbeath to beat Hibs. They were around 4/1 yesterday when I last checked although I suspect the price will get lower as Saturday approaches.

I've just turned 18 and all I've really betted on is teams to win/lose etc, so what on earth does it mean when you say "all at -1"? cheers in advance!

Means who ever you're betting on start at -1 goals, so you're saying that they'll win by at least 2 clear goals.

Asian Handicap yankee:
Hibs -1.0 2.35
Morton 0 2.35
Falkirk -2 2.425
St. Mirren -1.5 2.375
11*£1 bets returns up to £120
Since there's a precedent on this thread - Asian handicap: http://en.wikipedia..../Asian_handicap
The only good day's betting I've had all season was the last round of the cup, so I've been waiting for this week ever since. Though in the last round there really ws value in that the bookies had seemingly no idea of the gulfs between the different leagues - it's a bit trickier this time.

This is my 4th 'proper' single of the season.
Ross County v Stenhousemuir at 8/15

Considering large singles on these three:
Ross County (-1) vs Stenny 13/10
Falkirk (-1) vs East Fife 13/10
St J (-1) vs Brechin 10/11
All decent prices. Only concern being team selections and East Fife's cup form this season, but having see the Fifer's twice this season I'm not convinced they are capable of another shock.
edit to add: prices with McBookie so potentially better elsewhere.

East Fifes 'cup form' also saw them humped 4-1 by us in Methil, and that was without our top scorer. Due to having such a small squad, we'll have no option but to play our strongest available 11. Then there's taking our home form in to consideration - in all competitions our record is 8 wins, 3 draws (2 came against Ross County, with the second seeing them equalize in injury time) and 0 defeats.
Beating them by at least 2 clear goals seems a realistic prospect.

Falkirk -1 v East Fife
Forfar v Aberdeen -1
Sixfold: Dundee United, Falkirk, Aberdeen, Motherwell, Ross County, St Johnstone
Will be going for Ross County -1 and St Johnstone -1 to complete a set. And something on the FA Cup ties too.

I'll probably take saints on at -2, can see us running a fair few in, playing well, with Sandaza, wouldn't surprise me if we won by 4 or 5.

£25 on St Johnstone, County, Dundee United and Aberdeen pays £83.
Wouldn't normally stick 25 sheets on a fourfold but I get a free £25 bet so I'm treating it as a 'double chance' sort of thing.

Maybe bias as a Swindon season ticket holder, but most bookies offering round 2/1 on Swindon to beat Wigan is shite, was hoping of at least 4/1. Either way, still think Wigan should win, bonus of Caldwell suspended too. Wigan 8/5, so thinking about lumping a single on them. Swindon at least at full strength, sell out crowd except away end (Wigan managed to sell 400 tickets so far, reduced prices by £10, so just £15 a head and away end over spill behind goal is now for home fans tomorrow and was sold out pretty sharpish).
Done a £20 treble which returns just over £235.
Brighton at home to beat Wrexham
Bristol City away at Crawley
QPR away at MK Dongs

Putting on seven teams will normally never work, but I have a good feeling about this one.
Brighton beat Wrexham 4/9
Boro beat Shrewsbury 1/2
Reading beat Stevenage 1/2
Ross County beat Stenhousemuir 1/2
St Johnstone beat Brechin 2/7
Man City beat Man United 11/10
Arsenal beat Leeds 2/9
All at home, £7 returns £112.44.
Some of them seem to be great odds. I know cup games are unpredictable but I can't believe Ross County are at 1/2. Obviously Man City are most likely to let me down, but at least I'll have some excitement watching that game if the others come in (assuming Arsenal beat Leeds the next day).
Also putting £3 on Cowdenbeath to beat Hibs at 10/3, so at least if I have a nightmare day and we go out of the cup and my coupon fucks up, I'll not have lost any money.

£20 on Hearts -5, at 6/1. No other bets on this weekend, although if my punt on Hearts comes in I'll probably put athe same stake on Man City -3, which won me a few hundred earlier in the season.

Bit of aftertiming here but had a free bet tonight on Jordan Rhodes 2 or more at 7/2 which is up after half an hour.
Also a double of Huddersfield and Burton which still looks ok.

Corals had 8-0 Hearts @ 90/1 yesterday. Put a quid on it. Just checked McBookie, who are very low @ 18/1, so went back and checked and it's still 90/1. Stuck another quid on. Considering the gubbing Livi gave Irvine away, it's not that crazy. Also got a quid on 7-0 @ 45/1 with same bookie.
Fancy Queen's Park to do ok and maybe knacker some handicaps.
