Yeah, very disappointed with it. But then I've loved his previous albums, and this is nothing like them. His style has moved from the late 50s to the late 60s, and it doesn't really suit him. May grow on me, however. I can imagine people who weren't really a fan before being into this.

Absolutely buzzing about some of the new stuff I've got to get through. Still to give Sigur Ros a proper spin, loving what I've heard of Sleigh Bells 'Reign of Terror' and can't wait to give the album a listen, got 'Omens' by Monarch downloaded, and going to grab Errors, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Jack White, La Sera and Best Coast when I get a chance.
Top 10 probably looks like this
1. If These Trees Could Talk - Red Forest
2. Lost In The Trees - A Church That Fits Our Needs
3. Torche - Harmonicraft
4. O'Brother - Garden Window
5. Napalm Death - Utilitarian
6. The Shins - Port of Morrow
7. Pallbearer - Sorrow and Extinction
8. Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
I need to give Lost In The Trees a good few more listens though. It's incredible, and might move up to no.1
EDIT: Oh, need to get Storm Corrosion too

Fair play mate, I never thought I'd see The Shins and Napalm Death in the same top 10 list

Hehe, went through a spell in my teens of being a purist metalhead, but now I just like what I feckin like. Lana Del Rey, Dillinger Escape Plan, whatever - best way to be really!

That Sleigh Bells album is pretty cool, should stand a good chance of making my 10! Love that song Comeback Kid.
Giving Jack White's album a spin just now. Sounds very much like White Stripes which is no bad thing, but so far a bit more like album filler than hit singles.

Chicance's "Thousand Mile Stare" is pretty good. Much of the album sounds a lot like Sigur Ros, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I do prefer the more trance focussed stuff. Definitely worth a listen though and it'll probably still be in my top 10 come the end of the year.
