Where did you hear this? It's still on the EoS as Saturday.

Think Rab suggested that one last week. One other suggestion being bandied around was to see if Fergie Park was playable Sat and then play 5pm at Ainslie Park.
WW committee meeting tomorrow. Will keep you posted. It's hissing down here at the moment in deepest Midlothian, I'll tell you that much Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

It's a breeze round here at Ainslie Park aka Pilton, so WW might be at ours on Sat then, hmmn, more football or pub, it's a hard choice. Posted Image

Still it would mean that we'd be able to check 'em out for the 14th eh?

i, i believe he"s desperate for the game to be played so to free up his suspended players for the Spartan"s game next week.

Is there not rules that state you have to play at your home ground?
Fair play though to ww and lothian if they are prepared to play 5pm on a sat.

Maybe other team who have loads of games to play due to the weather will do this, border teams will be able to do it at gala with the vale being a prime example as they have played 3 league games.

vale set precedent playing selkirk in a cup tie at poltonhall ?

Not sure if in black and white about switching league games though ?
I suppose it be down to both teams agreeing a change to neutral venue which could help the "away" team.

Some will like the idea others wont ?

how many refs would fancy a sat night at 5 o clock ?

If both teams agree to it then it will be passed id imagine.
some refs might prefer it.. means they can catch the games during the day then out to referee a game and a nice cold pint straight after.

The refs are so bad they should be told when the game is and have no say in the matter

I think the refs go to the boozer before games anyway going by some of their decisions. Mind you they might go to the pub just to pick their assistants up.

Ok, 2pm at Fergie Park, no plan B. Most of the pitch is playable at the moment. Optimistic that the game will go ahead given a dry day tomorrow.
