I was just on the BBC website looking at your clubs info and noticed Montrose have now gone 56 games since last recording a 0-0 (hardly surprising given our defensive displays recently). I started wondering what the record length of games in Scottish league football would be for not playing in a no score draw so started looking around the internet.
I found that Elgin City have now gone an impressive 126 games since their last 0-0 (BBC website again so maybe not 100% accurate) but I couldn't find any lists of records anywhere else on the internet.
Can anyone find historical records regarding this as I've drawn a blank, cheers.

Airdrie are currently at something like 98 games without a 0-0.

It's on the back of a coupon in Ladbrokes.

Looking through those BBC stats, it seems to be clarification that SFL games provide more entertainment. More goals and less "Levein tactics" for less cash, and throw into the mixer the "get stuck in" menality and style our superiors complain of lack of...who wouldn't take that on?!

99 for Airdrie now :(

I seem to remember Caley were well over 100 games, back in the Steve Paterson days I think. I fancy that might beat Elgin's current streak, only I don't have the exact numbers handy.

Elgin had a 0-0 against Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup on 22 Oct 2011.

Their last 0-0 in the league was in Div 3 during season 2007/08. 5 Apr 2008. 139 matches between these two events. For league games only, it is 126 games and counting.

If I am correct, between 4 Apr 1998 (v Forfar) and 29 Dec 2001 v (St Mirren), ICT did not have any 0-0 scores. That is 133 league games, 160 including cup matches.

In their first ever Scottish Cup tie on 22nd September 1877, Hibs drew 0-0 at Hearts. It was 23 years to the day 22nd September 1900 before they recorded another one in league or cup - 229 games later.

Post war we went 187 league and cup games without a 0-0 between 1958 and 1962.
