[Just a bairn]

A problem that I only have when I use my Xbox in my parents house, but I have no issue with in my flat. The difference is at my parents house, I use my Computer to act as a wireless adapter as opposed to a wired connection in my flat.

I turn on the Xbox, everything correctly plugged in and I get a status code error: " 80072741".

My NAT is open.

The Xbox marketplace isn't available(even though the Marketplace according to xbox.com is not down for any maintenance) and it won't let me download any game patches.

The games that I do have the latest patches for I can play no problem.

I've cleared my system cache and checked that all of the correct ports on my router are open.

I've had this problem for months and I've searched every article there is and followed every instruction, but I keep having the same problem everytime and it's starting to become really annoying Even more so since it works absolutely perfectly in my own flat. Any help would really be appreciated.

Managed to sort the problem by using my old laptop
Bit worried there might be something wrong with my new laptop, but glad I've got a solution for now.
