McCormack(thug) and Janny. East Fife going all out for a mid table finish. Few bob again.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on. Our midfield has improved dramatically since he was dropped from the team.

A player without a club and one being frozen out at at a 2nd division club - both only til end of the season. Hardly breaking the bank, especially as we currently have the smallest squad in the division (15)

An ex-St Johnstone player who played for the club between 1998-2003 will apparently sign for the Albion tomorrow. Lots of guessing on the Albion forum on who it could be.

If we're going to bring anyone in, I would suspect it would be spl u19s on loan

Hopefully he gets a centre half from somewhere. Left back too, Creaney's brutal at times.

A centre-half seems to be the order of the day for most teams

Centre half wise I see Graham Gartland has left St Johnstone as he's no playing regularly, he's constantly tweeting about being with Sheerin and Falky and is good pals with Doris and Swanks to, deal until the end of the season maybe?

I'm sure I read he was off to Morton.

Read that to! Tweeted saying he was unsure just now, Sheerin tweeted him saying he's only a phone all away from employment, probably reading to much into it right enough

It's disappointing to see Winters go, in the respect that we know he's a good player, but he'll not be too much of a loss given he didn't show much of his ability in his second spell with us.
Martin McBride moving to Queen's Park on a permanent basis is no surprise at all, and given his minimal contribution before the 'failing to settle' story came about, I doubt he'll be a loss either.
As others have said, a centre-half and, I reckon, a striker should be the priorities. Defensively we're still very fragile and (I suppose the same goes for most other teams), we seem short of goal potential up top. There's a lot of pressure now on Prunty, Walker and Ally Graham from Falkirk to bang in the goals in our remaining games.

I've always rated Neil Janczyk very highly, and reckon he could be a very good addition for East Fife. His issues at Brechin have been well documented, but maybe a change of scenery will bring out the best in him.
Despite the apparent friendships between Sheerin/'Falky'/'Swanks' etc and Graham Gartland, I'd be very surprised if he signed for Arbroath. Not getting a game in the SPL is one thing, but I reckon he's too good to drop down two divisions, particularly to a side who isn't full-time.

With McKane now gone this leaves us space for a keeper. A new keeper, a right - back and centre - half is a must for us.

Apparently that talk was wide of the mark, as no-one at the club has confirmed anything about those rumours. We could do with an experienced centre half coming in though as Stewart McCaffrey (coincidentally another ex Saintee) is struggling with a foot injury, and we have no idea when he'll return, some people suggesting he may not return at all!
