GET FUCKING DAVIE COWAN SIGNED UP AGAIN. Cant believe he hasn't been offered a new deal yet. He has been outstanding.

Apart from that all we badly need is a winger and perhaps a striker. O'Brien will offer cover in centre mid along with Toorie when both are fit.

I think were are in the process of doing that.

We would be mad not to keep Cowan as he has been excellent for us and has never let us down. If we are serious about trying to win the championship then we have to get him tied up. I'm sure Cameron will make sure that he stays as he picks him above Brett every week.

Most important to find a replacement for Morton. He was begining to be an automatic pick for the side.Dont know how we could get a better loan signing than him.Important ,too, that we keep Cowan, as he has got better every week.Having said that, Brett was never in a losing side, in the league, before his injury.

After gubbing East Fife again, it's difficult not getting used to doing things repeatedly.

Airdrie united have completed the loan signing of 23 year old Villareal 'B' centre half Carlos Tomas.
The Spanish player previously spent 2 years on loan at Club Deportivo Onda

David Winters has been released by Dumbarton by mutual consent. A very good player with plenty of ability, but just couldn't get into the team this season and when he did he mainly looked disinterested. It'll be interesting to see which team he signs for.

I believe one of his reasons for joining us was the "shop window" aspect in the hope that a 1st Division club would come in for him. It's annoying because we know how good he can be but as you said he just looked like he didn't want to be here. Not a big loss.
Little brown boy, the other side of the world....
He was born on a line many thousand year long, many more thousand to be
They survived on tradition, not wealth and position
Sounds pretty simple to me....

For what it's worth, I doubt he'll struggle to find another club. Whether it's a part-time or full-time club is another matter.

Excellent news, he just hasn't contributed enough (if at all) since signing. Hopefully that free's up some wages for us to actually sign someone rather than another 1 month loan signing.

No doubt he'll sign for another team in this league (based on his current fitness level it'd be pointless for a full-time club to take him) and play a blinder against us but such is life... Posted Image

I'd really doubt he's going to go up a level after being 4th/at times 5th choice at us

He's certainly got the ability to play at a mid-table 1st division side, but the reason he was so far down the pecking order with us was a combination of injuries at the start of the season and him not putting in any effort.

FWIW I think he'll end up at a side in this league

I think he works alongside his brother in his brother's sports coaching company so I'm not really sure he needs to go full time anyway. If he gets another team, plays every week and scores a few goals before the season ends then I'd say there's every chance he could get another First Division club. He's been full time his whole career aside from the two short spells with us and he's hardly past it. Definitely a frustrating one as he was very good last time he was with us and I was chuffed when he re-signed this season. Onwards and upwards, it's not the end of the World.
