From a Caley Thistle perspective I would want to re-sign David Davis and Roman Golobart on loan for the rest of the season. Davis has fitted easily into the SPL and is an influential player and Golobart is improving and looks much more confident. Having these two in place for the next 17 games would be a big boost. I don't think we need to bring in lots of new faces - we've had a few players returning from injury over the last few weeks/month or so (McKay, Doran, Meekings, Cox).

Probably more importantly, we need to retain Jonny Hayes. He has been absolutely superb since returning to the side following a dislocated shoulder - in eight games he's scored four goals and set up seven. If he stays injury free he is the man to steer us to safety and is our major goal threat but I can see other clubs looking to snap him up. I think we should pull out all the stops to keep him here until the end of the season. I think he's got 18 months of his deal left so we could sell him in June and everybody's happy.

What do you want your club to do in the January window?

I hope we bin the absolute dross and come through this wages situation with the club still intact, and a win against the Hibs.

I'd take Ian Black back. Will he be getting binned?

We are in need of a striker. Billy Mckay is far two lightweight, takes far too long on the ball, and has been completely ineffective. I might be being slightly harsh on hims due to the fact he's only played a few games but i have not been impressed with him. I love Tade. I love his work rate, enthusiasm and commitment but he is not a footballer, he's an athlete. He's like a big dog that you love but it keeps shitting on the floor and you're slowly beginning to loathe him.

I'd love to see us loan half a dozen players to Dunfermline Posted Image

Scott Allan will probably leave, Ritchie Ryan already coming in. Dixon rumoured to be close to a PCA with Bristol City. Can't see much else happening.

As long as we keep David Obua I will be happy.

Well come on, someone needs to fucking smile at Tynie these days.

I believe that DL is hoping to conclude a quick deal for a Ross County player , does any of the guys from Dingwall know who's contracts are nearing an end ?

I'd honestly only keep 3 of the current Hibs squad whilst chucking the rest, but that'll not be manageable till at least the end of the season when the majority of the contracts run out so we'll have to make do. We've already signed a striker in Doyle, who is pretty unknown so will need to prove himself at this level but he'll most likely be the striker in Paddys 4-2-3-1 formation, so i'd like to see a creative midfielder signed to play in behind him as well as a winger or two,a right back and a centre half. Surely not too much to ask....

In terms of outgoings in januray i'd have O'Connor out the door, he clearly dosent give a f**k about Hibs and is not fit to be the captain of the club. I think Agogo and Thornill have already gone so along with them I'd like to see Sproule either chucked or permanently benched with the likes of Hart, Galbraith and Towell told that their just not good enough and sent on their way. Griffiths is a tough one, he's been pretty average with some minor glimpses that there's a player somewhere within him, I wouldnt give Wolves the money they want for him so a loan till the end of the season could be of benefit to us.

Has anyone looked at your record with/without Sandaza?

Was talking about this last night and I've a feeling that his impact on your points tally has been enormous.

I'm sure someone will eventually calculate it. I'm not smart enough though. I've seen us play both with and without Fran, and the difference is frightening, he's probably going to go and if he does we will drop down the table.

BUT we thought losing Sheridan would be a loss, and Haber has more than filled in. Whether we can replace Fran is a different matter but knowing we replaced Sheridan helps, Can't see Finnigan being the answer so maybe Sean Higgins can make a mark..... If not we will struggle for goals (againPosted Image)

I'd like to see an experienced central defender at united, can't think of anyone off the top of my head but i really hope houston doesn't decide to bring webster back or anything like that. people i'd like to see out would be kenneth, used to be half decent but he's got the idea he's a better player than he actually is and has got too comfortable at the club.

I would love for us to sign a commanding, dominating central defender. One that takes no prisoners and gets to the ball moving heaven and earth if need be. We don't have this at the moment and sometimes dally over clearing the ball. A striker who can finish would be useful too. Maybe a bit harsh on Mckay as he is only now getting a run in the team but we create some good chances during games but really struggle to put them away.

We are probably okay in the midfield department. We have a lot of ball winners and some skillful players in the wide areas but we don't often create much in the middle of the park. Once their job is done the ball normally goes wide to Hayes or punted aimlessly forward for Mckay or Tade. If we were able to keep a middle three of Davies, Tudor Jones / Cox and Andrew Shinnie that would be perfect but we have been hit hard by injuries this season. I really hope we can retain Davies who has been a real star for us. Not overly fussed if Chippendale returns South. Unfortunately he hasn't seen much action and with the likes of Doran returning and the more pressing need for a CB then I think he may be offloaded to free up wages.

We're getting Rooney back on loan in January if I believe a guy in the know with all things ICT.
And what?

That would be 'pleasing' if that deal came to fruition.

Out: Probably Jelavic. Hopefully Bedoya, Edu, Fleck, Whittaker & Wallace.

In: We need some creativity in midfield. Someone like Dean Shiels would be perfect at this moment in time. Also if/when Jelavic goes we'll need someone up front to partner Lafferty or Bendiksen. So maybe Johnny Russell. I would've said Scott Allan but he's on his way to WBA.

Well this is a bit vague even for a rumour. Quick deal as in transfer in January or pre-contract? I imagine it's the latter as nobody will be going cheap in January.

We have most our squad out of contract in the summer. I'd imagine you'd be looking at Gardyne, Vigurs or Boyd though.

Harsh on Wallace who has shown enough to suggest he will be a good signing.

Whittaker needs a kick up the backside for his form this year but I would keep him.

Dean Shiels is crocked
