Aye, it's amazing the players who were at Broadwood, and survived the "support" they got there, who are still doing alright for other SPL or First Division teams.
Trouten, Kettlewell, Tade, Baird, McGowan, Malone, McGregor, McKeown, Higgins, McLaughlin, Mensing, Imrie, Hutton of the top of my head.
Any others?

The first three probably were the targets of the boo boys, the rest not so I would have thought. Tade wasn't there long enough to settle but I liked him.

McGregor let himself and the club down regularly by getting sent off, decent player who made some poor decisions at times.

Higgins big fault was he couldn't pass without putting it out for a throw-in.

Imrie, Hutton, McGlaughlin, McKeown all very good players.

No own goal at Ayr and they would have been playing SPL football for us.

Or you could just admit that you are Jordan's Daddy!

I have no problem with you sticking up for your son, but I hope - for his sake - that your advice to him is a bit more realistic face to face. Your boy has ability but needs to couple that with application or he will go nowhere.

Against QP and Annan he did not try a leg, and he needs to change that at Falkirk.

HAHAHAHA I nearly wet myself when I read this.
"Daddy" You gave the game away when you said that he did quite well at Dumbarton :P Why? would a "supposed" Clyde fan with your user name go and watch Dumbarton. Then say he did quite well when he hardly got a sniff.
Next you'll be saying he did brilliantly at Drogheda (the 2nd worst team in Ireland), when in reality he's lucky if he played 2hrs the whole time he was there.....whooohoo Thats really setting the clover alight.

On the subject of advice,
Maybe you should stop giving him advice altogether  , as with the state we are in with players out injured and all, He would be playing for the first team in the premier league now if you hadn't tried to call Jimmy Macs' bluff (That really worked well :whistle ) but then again, You could always say that it was an administration error
At least you managed to get him a move to Falkirk reserves, so that makes up for it.

All the best to Yer' Boy, but I fear that his chance has sadly come and gone.

I dont recall the abuse being that bad until Brown took which was also the start of the descent both in terms of finances and on the field. I'll never forget the game away to thistle were it looked like he picked the players positions out a hat. Wilson at left back, Clarke wide left, McLaren as a loan striker? I was surprised he managed to get the goalie in the position that day.

Brown seemed to instill an us and them attitude between the players and fans which seems to have lingered long after he left. It doesnt help that there the squad bar a few exceptions changes every season and we have players there for a month or two before they disappear. I would say Chris Higgins was the last player I was sad to see go and that was 4 or 5 years ago.

At least with Duffy in charge things have improved greatly apart from the abuse some of the clyde fans dish out which is a complete joke at times.

So... let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet to see the king of the potato people and you're telling me your completely sane?

Jokes are generally funny. Some of the abuse handed out is far from amusing.

There's probably only about 10-20 particular culprits. In percentage terms it is small, but big enough to totally poison the atmosphere.

Never thought It's say something like this as Ive always been supportive of the right to say what you want but maybe its time to weed them out as these particular individuals just hand it out from start to finish. From a paying customer's point of view they fairspoil my experience, albeit Clyde aint done a lot to make it enjoyable, but it does not excuse some of the stuff that goes on.

That goes for both the boo boys and the referee baiters.

This is an easy one to sort. If the board would get off their arse and publish what's acceptable and what's not, the stewards can enforce any standards the board set. Pity there's no one on the board with a spine to deal with this issue.
