Im utterly shocked that when two similar quality teams play that when one describes their performance as good, the other describes theirs as bad. Who would have thought that such a thing could happen, and that a team played bad because the other team played good.
I don't think competitive sport is the thing for you. Perhaps start off lightly, by following the over 75's scrabble championships.
They are at it again ffs
Salivate or slever its the same thing but trying to deny that there were gm fans on here creaming thier pants after a very short early season spell at the top of the division, spl bound and all that, says it all

Problem is, tiny tears, Barr's cash is long gone while Rae's is still here. And your big-spending days brought you precisely zero major honours. Unlucky

Yeah, I'm used to that too. Was at every single one of those games and didn't enjoy getting bitched by you. However, we now live in a different era, and I notice you've chosen to ignore that at that time, we were owned by Hugh Scott/the administrators whilst Bill Barr was pumping money into Ayr and drawing attention to our present day sugar daddy.
Circumstances have changed and as a result we've been bitching you lot in recent years. Get over it.

Interesting! It's good to see a variation of the flat 4-4-2 with wingers that wasn't working for so long. How does McGeouch fit in on the right of the diamond, then?

How very dare they!
Ayr will run out clear 5-0 winners after crushing Morton's spirit with an early Martyn Campbell brace. Dean Keenan will complete his hat trick in the 74th minute.

Unspectacularly. And Tidser's position on the left obviously saw him drift inside a lot. It was a pretty narrow diamond, all told.

No, because I'd assume it was last year you were saying stuff like that. I've not looked at the Second Division forum at any great length for almost 5 years, unlike yourself. Would take me too long to find that sort of stuff. Nae luck.

More likely to be in this forum as it doesn't take you long to realise most of the grounds are lifeless up here 'til there's a promotion challenge.

True, I was expecting an atmosphere akin to the Ali Sami Yen on a European night when we turned up at Somerset for your last routine bitching given your circus act ultra mob's reputation but was left disappointed.
Whether it was to do with the fact you were toiling below an off form Morton or the fact that we beat you comfortably again is anyone's guess.

I have no idea what half of this post means, yet what I still took away from it is that you are talking absolute guff. That's the way the cookie crumbles.
Your turn again to finish your paragraph with a phrase that has absolutely no relevance or meaning in regards to anything you've just said. Let's see if you can improve on " says it all " and beat my magnificent cookie effort, but remember, our end of paragraph phrases have to look more out of place than you at a MENSA meeting.

Think it was all to do with banning orders and nowt to do with your mob, we're not exactly sitting sweating about wether Messi and Xavi are in opposition, no matter how much you lot like to tell everyone about your fantastic midfield.
Hopefully the pyros will be left at home or you lot could be using your big teams leftovers earlier than expected.

Yes, well given that one of the dynamic duo was behind the goal with the fans that day and we still managed to beat you whilst we were really shite, I'd imagine you've got far more to worry about than them.

Reid needs to ditch the 4-5-1. It might have worked in the cup, it's not working in the league.

Morton 2 Ayr Utd 0
I do think Morton will win this game as they will still be on major high after their last result, but I do think this game will be a little bit harder than most people expect it to be. Everytime I come on here people keep posting how crap Ayr Utd are? Well what the hell do you guys expect as we're the only part time club in the Division 1 and have a squad of 16 players? and that's including 1 defender who has been out injured since the start of the season and another who is currently serving a 3 game ban. The fact that we're not bottom of the league just now must be seen major achievement to any Ayr fan and the other good thing is we still have 2 games in hand. That say's to me that my club are fighting to stay in this league. In my eyes Ayr Utd are exactly where I expected them to be in the league, we knew we would be fighting it down at the bottom. I think some of the other teams fans should take a good hard look at their own club before having a go at Ayr Utd.

In all seriousness, and ignoring my wee debate with ayrmad, I don't think too many Morton fans are having much of a go at Ayr. What irks us is being labelled arrogant for predicting a win. In my opinion, we're better than you. I accept there are teams in the division that are better than us, but we should be confident of a result against the second bottom team at home. Nobody's saying they're a bad team either. Considering we had Stirling and Cowdenbeath in the league last year, it's good to have a promoted team that is competing far better than those two did after Cowden's initially good start.
What I can't understand is how the Ayr fans can take such offence to our confidence given how we've got 6 points from 6 against you, our best players have now returned and we've been above you all season. Nobody's answered that yet, pretty much everyone other than yourself and oht have just whinged about us because of our well placed confidence. Were we playing Ross County or Falkirk for example I wouldn't be as optimistic, but against Ayr we have every reason to be.
