Usual Suspects is tremendous :D

It was a decent film, but I feel a bit cheated. I knew the twist in that particular tale (it was released in 1995, so anyone that doesn't know must be living under a rock), so some of the impact of the ending was lost for me, although I love the way it was revealed. I don't think I'd have seen that coming had I not known, so I would definitely have enjoyed it far more if not for the "hur, Bruce Willis is dead" brigade having to spoil it for everyone.

Yeah, you know how when the film was out, all those knobends that just HAD to tell you that 'Bruce Willis is dead all along!' and ruin it? It's the same with Usual Suspects. I hate those people. They're arseholes.

I've been a bit remiss in updating my blog. I'll need to get the finger out, as I reckon I might have ticked a couple off.

My challenges aren't really the type you would want to read, none of my challenges are really "story" ones so there's no point checking mine.

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

I can't update my blog since I've not done any more.

Uni works piling on fast and I just don't have enough time, anyway the majority of mines will get done in the summer. Actually thinking about it I have done another, so a quick post on my blog will probably happen in a bit.

Have a dirty weekend at the Balmoral in Edinburgh
Help the wee man complete Skylanders
Ask to see out the cockpit window when I'm going to Murcia
Score a hat-trick at Starks Park (Providing they run a Live the Dream game again)
Get a more practical car
Get a story that I wrote for my son made into a book
Write a story for my wee girl
Learn to fluently play a tune on the guitar
Buy a 4/5 bedroom house so I can have a seperate room for films/PS3 etc

I can barely believe I've just done this, but I have, within the last 10 minutes, sent an application to audition for The X Factor. I now have to wait and see if I get a slot, but I'm not confident that I will for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I didn't send a video, so they might just ignore it completely. I doubt I'm the only one that's not done that though. Secondly, the auditions are all taking place this month by the look of it. I thought it would be done over the summer months, like they usually are, but according to their website, they're not this year! This also suggests that Gary Barlow isn't going to be at them because he's been on Twitter today from Cape Town. However, the email I got in response says they'll be in touch around mid-February, so I've likely missed the slot. The application process isn't closed though, so I'll just have to wait and see. Either way, I can cross that off my list when I either get an email telling me I haven't got a place (because I at least started the process) or when I've actually done it. If Gary Barlow's not going though I don't see the point. :(

They have auditions before the televised ones, they are the second stage.
