This season

David Hutton - dreadful 1/10

Derek Lyle - dreadful 1/10

Greg Spence - average 5/10

Matt Paterson - very disappointing 3/10

Gordon Smith - non trier 2/10

Kevin McBride - not had chance. Contribution 3/10

Paul Currie - OK but Reid doesnt trust him 5/10

Grant Anderson - bags of potential but very injury prone 6/10

Overall - pretty disappointing

Paterson is now away. No doubt Hutton, Lyle and McBride will be away soon and a few more imposters wil be drafted in. Reids signings leave a hell of a lot to be desired.

kevin cuthbert - best goalie of the reid erra 8/10
john robertson - steady, knew what we were getting 7/10
michael mcgowan - signed to play out left is stinking out left would have been 3/10 until he played on the right where he is about 7-8/10
andy geggen - decent 5/10
ryan connoly -(loan ) - used as one of our own youths would be bit of a waste of his time if u ask me
jamie mckernon - waste of a squad place that a football player could be playing in, potential to be a prospect bit of a nothing player for us but 2/10
alex burke - see above add abortion of a signing 0/10
gareth wardlaw - flatters to decieve 3/10
tam mcmanus - unfortunate due to call offs when only around for a month , nothing good nothing bad 5/10

missed any ?

Shame about Burke, like him as a player.

Neil McGregor - 9/10 - Our first choice centre back. Fantastic signing.
Gavin Rae - 9/10 - We've not lost a game since he started for us.
Ross Chisholm - 3/10 - Technically astute, but shows no edge.
Ryan Conroy - 7.5/10 - Has come good after a slow start. Now an important feature of the side.
Jamie McCluskey - 6/10 - A good squad player. Has come on and changed things for us. Wont budge Riley or Conroy from the side, however.
Jake Hyde - 6.5/10 - Would probably be higher had he not been injured so long. Looks a natural goalscorer. Coming good.
Steven Milne - 9/10 - Has played well over the season, but has finally started scoring for fun. Crucial to our success.
Graham Bayne - 1/10 - Injured, and not impressed when played. Is last in the pecking order of strikers.

If we can get Calum Elliot until the end of the season, then we'd be complete.

Smith's signings have come good.

Edit: To deduct from Chisholm's rating!

Good to hear about McGregor though :D

Aye, Good luck in life.

For this season:

Andy McNeil: Suprisingly good signing so far. He's looked pretty solid for the most part, a few dodgy moments has been more than made up by some top-quality saves. 7/10

Johnny Brown: Looked good in his first spell with us but he's looked devoid of confidence so far in this spell. I have serious doubts over his ability to defend and the fact Bollan resorted to playing a CM at right back after a few of his horror performances tells you all you need to know. I'd like to see him played at right or left midfield as he did look a genuine threat when he played there up at Ross County. Sadly I think he'll off at the end of the season. 3/10

Rory Boulding: Hasn't really had a good run in the team so far but whenever he's made an appearance he's looked quite cumbersome and slow. Wouldn't say he's good enough to displace the three players ahead of him in the pecking order but he's a more than adequate player to come off the bench. 5/10

Maurice Ross: Only played a few games for us but he's looked a yard off the pace in each of them. Not a liability by any stretch of the imagination but his performances have been well below average for a player of his experience. 3/10

Mark Fotheringham: This guy has been a class act for us since his first game, he runs the show in midfield and I'm sure no-one at Livi would begrudge him a move to a higher level as he is far too good for the First Division. Would love to keep him until the end of the season but I seriously doubt it'll happen. 8/10

Overall, the signings of Fotheringham and McNeil have improved us but RB remains a serious problem for us and it'll be interesting to see if Bollan has a more permanent solution lined up.

I think Jackie has made some potentially very decent signings in the likes of Sinclair, Kyle Hutton Lindsay (though still to see more of him). He also seems to have got Paton and Cairney playing some good football this season though I guess he didnt actually sign them.
Only real area not to sure about is upfront as our best striker Doolan was not Jackie's signing. Time will tell with Christie Elliot as still a huge step up from playing with Whitely Bay, but I was expecting more from Tommy Stewart and Craig Dargo, though I feel Stewart may be better suited to midfield and holding the ball up rather than an out and out striker.

Graham Bayne 2/10- Has hardly played any games since joining due to injuries but poor when he does play
Ross Chisolm 6/10- Not impressed with him up until the Kilmarnock game in the cup, since then he has impressed me
Ryan Conroy 7/10-Very good set-piece taker but in my mind is not a winger because he cannot take on any full back
Jake Hyde 6/10- Not great but always in the right place at the right time when it comes to scoring
Jamie McCluskey 6/10- Practically the same as Ross Chisolm
Neil McGregor 10/10- Started the season as a backup player but now one of the key players at the club. Arguably the best tackler in the division
Steven Milne 9/10- Slow start but has now became the best striker at the club
Gavin Rae 10/10- Hasn't lost his touch and is the same player from when he left in 2003. Sad to see him go to Aberdeen

Aaron Sinclair - Great prospect. Not the finished article yet and needs to work on his final ball, but has confidence and ability in abundance and can beat a man. I think we've been spoilt for choice at left-back over the last few years with Twaddle, Boyle and Sinclair all good players, but reckon Aaron's the best of the lot. With our finances I can see us selling if decent money comes in though.
Stephen O'Donnell - Appears to be suffering from a lack of confidence. Had an amazing game against Morton on the right wing but since being pushed back to right-back (his natural position) he's looked nervous, misplacing passes during the early stages of matches. Looks to grow as the game goes on.
Scott Robertson - Never a midfielder in a million years but does a solid job at the back and gets a lot of unfair criticism in my opinion. No thrills player but certainly not as bad as Thistle fans make out.
Christie Elliot - Do we keep persevering with him? He's very enthusiastic and gives his all but I'm not sure if his all is enough. On a goal drought and personally I don't think his positioning is all that great. Has pace but never seems to use it to his advantage as any ball played to him is ten yards ahead of him with the defender having a few steps head start. He doesn't often win the chase and we need to start thinking about how to utilize his abilities better.
Tommy Stewart - Afraid we're going to have to cut our ties with this one. Always thought he would turn around his slump but I now have to regretfully accept that he's just not good enough.
Johnny Lindsay - Not had any real game time but with clubs looking at Sinclair could have a part to play. I've seen him once and he looked fine, but can't really comment much more.

Craig Dargo - When Dargo came in we lacked two things (which we still lack now): Experience and goals. He provided us with the first but he was never going to be the answer for the latter. Didn't impress enough in his short spell at the club, played really well in one match then became a passenger.

Loans

Conrad Balatoni
- Few blips early on in the season but bounced back with a string of good performances before returning to Hearts. I wouldn't be against him coming back at some point but I do believe there are better alternatives out there right now.
Kyle Hutton - Great signing, gave Cairney license to get foward more and we reaped the benefits from that. Looked very assured on the ball and controlled the midfield. Will go on to better things.
Darren Cole - Too early to say. Early impressions are positive though, think he looks steady at the back.
Kal Naismith - Too early to say. Didn't seem to be giving 100% effort, walking about after gifting possession etc. If he knuckled down he could perform at this level though, he showed glimpses.
