Alan Reid - Mr slightly below average - performs slightly below the average standard in each position he plays
Tam Brighton - Said in the summer he would be pish but to be fair to him he has not reached those lows - he has just been poor
Marc McCusker - An unfit crapper version of Derek Holmes
Nicky Clark - Decent enough squad player
Kevin Smith: Good striker at this level but to one footed at times
Scott McLaughlin- as others have said meh, but at least he gets goals
Lee Robinson - Very good signing
Chris Higgins - Good at cb utter drivel at lb
Mark Campbell - Biggest dissapointment for me. Good in the air but lack of pace a big issue

Grant Munro - 10/10 Superb signing and he should probably still be playing in the SPL. Seems to just walk this league and has formed a good partnership with Scott Boyd at the back.
Colin McMenamin - 9/10 He's better than I thought he would be. Makes some clever runs and works his ass off. Starting to score a few goals now too, 5 in his last 3 games.
Rocco Quinn - 8/10 Looks a tidy wee player but he's struggled to get a set role in the team. He's played all over the midfield and behind the striker but he's chipped in with a few goals.
Michael Fraser - 8/10 Decent enough replacement to Mick Mcgovern. Saved us in a couple of games near the start of the season but recently nothing much has troubled him and he's played well. Could maybe have done better in the win over Raith but nothing too concerning.
Sam Morrow - 6/10 Looked very good in the wins over Raith and Dundee as well as scoring a nice goal against Ayr. He's renting out Steven Craig's hospital bed in Raigmore though as he's only been fit to play 4 games.
Kurtis Byrne - 5/10 One for the future really so he's been restricted to sub appearances when we've had a couple of players out. Seems decent enough but I've not seen much of him to judge. Chipped in with a couple of goals though.
Russel Duncan - 4/10 Again it's hard to judge as he's hardly been fit for whatever reason. Dunno what's up there but he's only played 5 games mainly as a sub. Was a good player at ICT but we've not seen him much since he signed due to injury and Kettlewell having another good season in his position.

Haha so I did. Tbh he hasn't really hit the heights I expected him to when he first signed. He hits the occasional lovely ball but just doesn't do enough to influence games often enough. Never in a million years should he be captain ahead of McKenna

I'd agree with this pretty much word for word. The Wimpey Man has impressed me, despite his near £200,000 per week salary. He's far more of the player Skyline Drifter identifies than some of the Morton fans do. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have no idea why ICT released Munro. He's our best player and will be player of the year no question, as long as he stays fit, He's only a turn of pace away from being a good player at a far higher level than the first division.

Conrad Balatoni - Solid enough at his second spell at the club. His loan contract expires in January, but it would be nice to get him back again on a loan deal or a full-time contract this time. Still young so should improve.
Jonathan Lindsay - Rarely played. Makes the bench occasionally. Not done anything to make any sort of impression.
Aaron Sinclair - Signing of our season. Better than Paddy Boyle, in my opinion. Attack wise he is brilliant. He's fast, can usually get past his man, and his final ball isn't too bad. Defensively he could do better but I'd hope he'd be able to improve on that. I'm unsure whether we'll be able to keep him in January, and if we do, I see him definitely going in the summer.
Kyle Hutton - Now back at Rangers, much to my disappointment. Didn't do an awful lot, truth be told, but he was still really really good - too good for the division. I can see him having a really good career at Rangers or wherever he decided to go.
Stephen O'Donnell - He's done pretty well. Decent enough player for us, but could certainly improve.
Scott Robertson - *sigh*
Craig Dargo - I've been disappointed. A few of our fans have said he's done really well, but I don't think he has. He can, sometimes, hold the ball up quite well - but that's about it. He can't run, he can't pass, and his scoring record is shite. I'd be happy if we didn't sign him again.
Christie Elliot - He was really good at the start of the season, but hasn't maintained his form at all.
Tommy Stewart - I liked him when he first came, at the end of last season, but he's been pish this season.

kevin cuthbert - best goalie of the reid erra 8/10
john robertson - steady, knew what we were getting 7/10
michael mcgowan - signed to play out left is stinking out left would have been 3/10 until he played on the right where he is about 7-8/10
andy geggen - decent 5/10
ryan connoly -(loan ) - used as one of our own youths would be bit of a waste of his time if u ask me
jamie mckernon - waste of a squad place that a football player could be playing in, potential to be a prospect bit of a nothing player for us but 2/10
alex burke - see above add abortion of a signing 0/10
gareth wardlaw - flatters to decieve 3/10
tam mcmanus - unfortunate due to call offs when only around for a month , nothing good nothing bad 5/10

David O'Brien - 8/10. Took a while to bed into the team but seems to be finding his feet this season and has been our most consistent player in the past 6/7 weeks.

Fouad Bachirou - 9/10. Excellent wee player. Gives 100% every game, full of running, always harrying players and never gives an opposition player a second on the ball.

Kevin Kelbie - 2/10. Big excitement about the big man when he signed due to his scoring record for Ballymena but failed to impress.

Graeme Holmes - 5/10. Did ok, nothing special but not bad either.

Grant Evans - 7/10. Like O'Brien he took a while to bed into the team but this season has been excellent at right back and also centre back.

Stewart Kean - 6/10. Same as Holmes.

Stuart McCaffrey - 9/10. One of the best defenders to play for Morton in the last decade. Struggling without him in the team at the moment.

Sean Fitzharris - 6/10. - Excellent start at his time at Cappielow. Very unfortunate with injuries and seems to be suffering with a crisis of confidence at the moment.

Jonathan Toto - 0/10. Nuff said.

Darren Young - 5/10.

Derek Lyle - 5/10. Started well but seemed to fade away near the end of the season before being released.

Paul di Giacomo - 6/10. - Started really well but got steadily worse as the cold months drew closer before being dropped.

Andy Graham - 6/10. Suffered a serious injury to his eye socket in pre season, has recovered and done OK in the games I have seen him in.

Ross Forsyth - 3/10. Hasn't impressed at all. Would have been better sticking with McKinlay who was released.

Andy Jackson - 8/10. Like others he took a while to get going but has really impressed over the last couple of months.

Peter MacDonald - 9/10. Best striker at the club in a decade, started the 11/12 season brilliantly and his goals helped fire us to the top of the league in September. Goals have dried up recently due to a minor injury.

Darren McGeough - 6/10. Used as cover and has started quite a few games due to both Tidser ad Bachirou being injured. Doesn't stand out much but goes about his job well.

Archie Campbell - 5/10. Mostly sub appearances so far, does a lot of running but most of the time with no end product. Will come good though.

Kevin McCann - 5/10.

Derek Young - 6/10. Signed as midfield cover due to injuries. Adds a lot of experience to the team.

Matthew McGinley - 4/10. Came in as a back up keeper, started one game, gave away a penalty then broke his hand.

Dominic Cervi - 5/10. Again used as cover due to injuries to Stewart and McGinley. Been suspect for some goals he has conceded.

F*ck me, that's a long list of signings!! :o

Neil McGregor - 9/10 - Our first choice centre back. Fantastic signing.
Gavin Rae - 9/10 - We've not lost a game since he started for us.
Ross Chisholm - 3/10 - Technically astute, but shows no edge.
Ryan Conroy - 7.5/10 - Has come good after a slow start. Now an important feature of the side.
Jamie McCluskey - 6/10 - A good squad player. Has come on and changed things for us. Wont budge Riley or Conroy from the side, however.
Jake Hyde - 6.5/10 - Would probably be higher had he not been injured so long. Looks a natural goalscorer. Coming good.
Steven Milne - 9/10 - Has played well over the season, but has finally started scoring for fun. Crucial to our success.
Graham Bayne - 1/10 - Injured, and not impressed when played. Is last in the pecking order of strikers.

If we can get Calum Elliot until the end of the season, then we'd be complete.

Smith's signings have come good.

Edit: To deduct from Chisholm's rating!

Darren Dods - been very steady. Brought Murray Wallace on a treat
Kallum Higginbotham - really been a stand out this season. Technically as good as anyone in the league IMO
Farid - Little to say apart from just a brilliant signing
Mark Miller - Very good this season like Higgy. Will move down South IMO in the summer
Michael McGovern - just what we needed after the bomb scare that was Olejnik. Can only think of one mistake that has cost us anything
David Weatherston - stow start but has given the team real balance
Rhys Bennett - looked really good early on. Lost his place to Wallace. Not done too much wrong.
Overall SP has done a great job with the players he signed. I only think Deuchar has failed. He is bringing in two players in January. I am sure they will be a benefit considering his record so far.

I wouldn't give Fraser as high at 8/10. Mainly he has been solid, but he hasn't really been tested such is the strength of our defence. a 7/10. The other three you couldn't even rate as they have featured very little because of injuries and the form of our other players. I really think Duncan is a total waste of a wage. I said at the start of the season he is nowhere near as good as Kettlewell and that has proven to be correct. Although to be fair to Duncan he hasn't much opportunity to show what he can do. He would have featured for every other side in the league though.
You will retire me, but Iniesta will retire us both.

Millar, Higgy, Farid, McGovern and Dods have all been really good signings for us.

Weatherston has been a decent signing so far.

Really? That surprises me. I suspect it's more to do with who is playing around him, because I remember he looked a decent player with Clyde alongside Kettlewell. A bit "dogs of war", granted, but extremely effective.

I like Trouten and I suspect its also more about who he is playing next to. He has in the past shown flashes of brilliance when the rest of the team is actually playing well and he's not having to spend have the game defending or covering others mistakes.

Agreed, good player in a good team. Absolutely useless in the hard graft department, may even go as far as to say a bit of a luxury player.

Kevin Cuthbert- 7/10- Alan Martin aside he is probably the best keeper we have had aside. He does have his flaws though, he's not the tallest guy in the world.

John Robertson- 7/10- We knew what to expect from Big Robbo who is now in his thrid stint with the club. Is an experianced head in the back 4 beside a pretty young back 4. Tiffioney (20), Smith (23) and Malone (26)

Alex Burke- 3/10- Waste of a wage, He actually looked half-decent in pre-season against Girvan and Man Utd but hasnt shown any sort of footballing ability in any of the competitive matches he has playerd in. Should be punted in january.

Ryan Connoly- 5/10- Not being given enough game time to make an impresion really, I think he could have been really good if played on the wing instead of Michael Moffat. Has now returned to Derby.

Andy Geggan- 7/10- He has split the support a bit, some saying he is not good enough and some saying he is. I actually like him, he is the only one of our centre mids with a bit of fight to go and get the ball and keep onto it. He also has a meaty shot on him (which he showed yesterday).

Jamie McKernan- 6/10-Has been ok. Would prefer to have someone with a bit more experiance in the middle of the park. Would be good back-up but has started most games.

Gareth Wardlaw- 7/10- Has played as the lone striker most of the time which he is not. Think he could form a really partnership with McManus if they were both played up-top together.

Tam McManus- 6/10- Hasn't been given enough game-time to show his potential, Would form a good Partnership with Wardlaw.
Keighan Parker- ""Out of all the places I've played, the biggest crowd to noise ratio I've experienced is at Ayr." Ryan Stevenson- "I managed to play for Ayr, the team i supported as a boy" Liam Tomsett-"The fans were amazing, to come all that way up there and give us that backing. I couldn't believe the way they were carrying on- it was crazy"
