Best I've seen advertised so far is Asda doing an LG blu-ray player for 40quid.

Sure there will be plenty bargains to be found across the country.

John Lewis are offering a 32" Sharp LCD tv for £99 with a free 5 year warranty. Instore only. I'd get there at opening time if you want one though.

Probably more to do with the models Tesco stock than LCD as a technology. Nothing at all wrong with LCD televisions, and I say that as the owner of a Plasma.

You could well be right but for me on that basis alone i have stayed clear of them. Maybe sad btu thats the way it is, We stock a fair bit the now, will add back to this thread later to find out story we them now
