Only ever played the original Rayman, and it was fantastic!

LOL at the edit to the original post. Tragic.

Seriously though, if you did like the original then chances are you will like the newest console game (Origins). It's 2.5D as opposed to the crappy 3D games they've been releasing for years, and is fantastic fun. :)

What Rudy said. I played the demo of origins, and it's a pretty polished game. Even though it's "just" 2.5D, there's a lot of detail crammed in there, and it's a good simple platformer like they used to make. Think my fiancee's sister's bought it for her for Xmas, so should be a good fun co-op game to play for when she can drag me away from Skyrim.

Picked this up from Amazon for only £15 and it is a stunning game in my opinion. I would say it's the best platform game since New Super Mario Bros DS. The gameplay, graphics and sound are near perfect.

Sadly more people would rather play whatever dull military shooter is on the go, rather that such a well designed game as this.
