Starting to feel sorry for De Gea, he's looked awful today against Liverpool

Have to say that most improved player in the man utd team over the last couple of months has to be De Gea. Looking more confident, making great saves and his punching and distribution is starting to improve. He is actually now looking like a decent keeper

Hopefully his improvement will continue.

De Gea has always been a very good keeper. He's just rising to the challenge of being Man Utd's #1 a bit better now. I'm not even slightly surprised that he's come good.

Nope, I said when he signed he would take a bit of time but was a fabulosuly talented keeper and maintained that position throughout his exaggerated bad form.

I dont think it was exaggerated at all, his form was poor at the time and was letting in a lot of soft goals.

Think I can start showing him a bit of respect now he's had a shave. That pube beard thing he had going on was revolting.

It was completely exaggerated, as bad form from players from top teams often is.

He had plenty of good games yet was being spoke about as a liability and as a flop. He was nothing of the sort, it was a young and very talented player adapting to a new country and a new league.

He has been easily Man Utd's best player for about two months now, keeping them in games. And when he was being touted as a flop, most sensible people knew that was nonsense, although he was letting in some soft goals he was still making some great saves.
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

If I could be bothered going back to see all of my posts re: De Gea and quoting them - and those arguing against me - then I would.

Glad to see he's finally getting a bit of recognition.

Really improved over the last couple of months. He's making more key saves now and he's been getting rid of the errors as well. Think he's really going to be a top keeper in the future.

He hasn't improved to any greater or lesser degree, it's merely a fact the reporting of his performances has become less reactionary and hyperbolic. He's a fine keeper, and always has been. The hounding of him was completely ridiculous.

Johnny Evans has been Man U's most improved player in the last few months. He actually looks like a defender now.

De Gea has been pulling off cracking saves all season. The 4 in the first half were outstanding.

Who is better De Gea or Joe Hart?

Evans has been excellent as well. Really starting to look like a good player after all. Even though De Gea's been good I still think Hart is definitely the better keeper of the 2 of them.

Not only was his goalkeeping impressive against Blackburn, so too was his new hairdo. Magnificent

He's growing in confidence all the time, too- far more vocal with his (also much-improved) defence
