Brilliant stuff :D . Let's hope the pair are in a good place come next September, though I suspect we will be continuing with Berra and Caldwell for the sake of consistency.

The only consistency you get with Gary Caldwell is that games will consistently get watched through slitted hands. He's still making exactly the same suicidal mistakes this season as he was five years ago.

It's the constant starfish impression in the penalty box that infuriates me - how he hasn't been sent off for more handballs I don't know.

Can only echo the posts earlier - delighted to see Hanley's form improving, and it's also good to see Wilson - hopefully - get regular first team football.

Really?

were you at the game today? I was at the game today and he was the best centre half by a mile. Hard being 4-0 doen but he covered himself in glory.

Maybe you are just being bias.

End of the day, we are crying out for Caldwell replacement, which is not hard, I would take East Stirling's centre back over Caldwell. Berra now out of favour at Wolves with them signing Bessong. Wilson can't get a game at Liverpool.

So we have 0 centre backs. A real concern. Hanley may improve in a few years, but not the answer at the present. Anyone who is not concerned by our defensive situation is living on cloud cukoo Land.
No more Gary Caldwell in the Scotland team.

Maybe I wasnt watching close enough - I thought it was his horrific mistake that let Henry for the last goal.

Man United reportedly interested. He's looked pretty steady at the back and still only 20.

He hasn't been linked with a move at all. What actually happened is Steve Kean said Alex Ferguson had mentioned Hanley had played a very good game the other night, and that he could play for Scotland for the next ten years. Kean went on to say 'I hope he doesn't make a bid'.

What Hanley has been linked with, however, is a call-up for Team GB. Hmm.

We won't hold that against him though!

Hanley looks good from what I've seen, future Scotland cb. Better than Wilson.
