And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

Edit: Who could forget the rightful ruler of San Theodoros, General Alcazar!!

1. Stalin
2. Hitler
3. Pol Pot
4. Idi Amin
5. Jean-Bedel Bokassa (He's in for sheer insanity and penchant for cannibalism)

Plenty of others get near the list (Papa Doc, Hussian, etc.) but I feel for their dedication to their trade these 5 lead the way.

funny how Hitler is top of most lists when Stalin was responsible for more deaths and no mention of chairman Moa of china the biggest despot of all time

1/ Chairman Mao = 45 million
2/ Josef Stalin = 35 Million (including 7 million Ukrainians before WW2 started 1/4 of Ukraine's population)
3/ Adolf Hitler = 20 million
4/ Kim Jong = 4 - 5 million
5/ Pol Pot = 3 Million

1. Mao Tse Tung - no contest. Utterly despicable excuse for a human being.

2. Joe Stalin - very close second

3. Adolf Hitler - lazy incompetent popularist scumbag, thank God he was leading Germany when they went for a replay of World War 1.

4. Louis XIV - The Sun King was one of history's biggest despotic c**ts ever to the extent he got the ever warring Catholic & Protestant nations of Europe to unite to stop him as the League Of Augsburg under William of Orange & Pope Innocent.

5. Pol Pot - twisted old loony that was so bad (killing more of his own people than even the Japanese had managed) that another evil dictator Ton Duc Thang was forced to invade to stop him.

I always found it funny, not  that Mao was in the Civ games as a cartoon the outrage that would have been caused if any of the others had been used

Well, to be fair, they weren't the ones to start WW1, necessarily. They were dragged into it, and used as a scapegoat for starting the war, due to their callous image.

True. None of the other countries had to get involved apart from Serbia and Austria. The alliance and Entente agreements caused the whole thing to escalate to the level it got to.

Thing is though, Hitler managed to get his slaughtering done in only around 10 years, whereas Mao and Stalin dilly dallied over 30 years a piece to get their stats up.
Serious honourable mention to Pol Pot though. My favourites are the corporations and governments encouraging civil war and mass slaughter in the Congo since the downfall of Mobuto so they can get their hands on the rare metals needed for our lovely i-phones etc.. Estimates of deaths range from 5-8 million since 1998.

remember though around 10 million was due to combat and bombing cities, the bolsheviks blamed the German forces for many civilian massacres in the old soviet union massacres that they are now saying that was committed by soviet troops, their is no denying that the Einstatz Gruppen, Organisation Todt and the Allgemeine SS were a bunch of murdering bassas but they paled in comparision to the soviet NKVD

I'm sure the Soviets blamed a lot of their own murders on the Germans, but the fact remains that Germany and Japan between them started wars that resulted in over 60 million deaths. Stalin would have probably carried on his paranoid slaughter without the German invasion, but you can't deny German responsibility for most of the carnage on an epic scale..

Think us Brits might have started more wars than we did, if we weren't an Island nation. We went out and colonised places whereas the the Germans had their neighbours to get past first
