Also worth considering IMO:
Aston Villa +1
Lay Newcastle
Lay Liverpool (or perhaps back Wigan +1 or +1.5 if you want to play safer)
Lay Sunderland
Swansea +1
I'll take full time now for 5 wins and a push.

At least the Arsenal one didn't come in, would've been fairly pissed at that, cheers Albrighton, happy 20000th EPL goal.
I watched the first 20-25 minutes of the Liverpool game, they were all over them. Suarez didn't have great movement though, couple of times he should've been running. Oh well, nothing cheaper than something free. Got it with the Clyde season ticket, think my dad still has one but it expires at the end of 2011 so might stick it on one of the Boxing Day matches. I'd always said I was gonna wait and stick it on a match I thought would end 0-0(so you didn't have to select a goalscorer), typical it would end that way in Wigan

My rough calculations make that a profit of £25.30 for the night. I've made similar profits the past few days (as posted in previous threads) meaning I'm probably up around £100. I don't expect my luck to last much longer though.

Going on the whole parents reading mail and that, my Mum told me to withdraw the 70 quid and never bet online again.

Did OK tonight, 3 bets won, 2 pushes (stakes returned) and one loss thanks to Sunderland's late goal. Far and away my biggest bet was on Manchester City -1.5; just watched them on Football First and Stoke looked to barely touch the ball.

Wish I'd logged on to see the Man City odds (never looked myself). Anyway had 3/4 tonight - Man Utd, Lay Newcastle, Lay Liverpool and also Layed Everton but I'd do that again as they were too low for me at 1.61.
Did you lay Sunderland purely based on their odds because they will surely be a different team under O'Neil and QPR have poor form of late. However, I did think QPR were high.

Martin O'Neill is often made out to be some sort of managerial superman, but I've never seen it myself. A couple of good seasons at Celtic and Leicester are worthy of praise, but he is merely an above average manager for me. Nothing special. Sunderland started the game tonight as favourites, which seems a little bit wrong to me. Player for player, QPR are not that good and have many above average Championship players, but not many better than that. You can argue how relevant it is but Sunderland won only five away games last season and two the season before. They'd won one from eight coming into tonight and been pretty poor away from home most of the time. I'm not going to spend too much time worrying about losing this bet. Some people had a lucky escape, as I noticed that Sunderland had been matched at 1.08 when 2-0 up.
I backed Swansea +1, so got my stake back, and I will keep betting against Everton while they keep being overrated by the markets. Everton might well be the seventh best team in the league, but they really struggle to score goals, which makes them worth opposing at short prices at home.
