Most bookmakers will void on non-starters.

Best bet of the night for me: Manchester City -1.5 @ 1.8

Also worth considering IMO:

Aston Villa +1
Lay Newcastle
Lay Liverpool (or perhaps back Wigan +1 or +1.5 if you want to play safer)
Lay Sunderland
Swansea +1

I'll take full time now for 5 wins and a push.

Almost certainly. Check the rules with who you placed it with. Will only take you a minute to find out and end the uncertainty.

Had a free £5 scorecast, was gonna stick it on 2-0 Arsenal and RVP but the bookie said it had to be a live match...2-0 Liverpool and Suarez scoring first please Posted Image

At least the Arsenal one didn't come in, would've been fairly pissed at that, cheers Albrighton, happy 20000th EPL goal.

I watched the first 20-25 minutes of the Liverpool game, they were all over them. Suarez didn't have great movement though, couple of times he should've been running. Oh well, nothing cheaper than something free. Got it with the Clyde season ticket, think my dad still has one but it expires at the end of 2011 so might stick it on one of the Boxing Day matches. I'd always said I was gonna wait and stick it on a match I thought would end 0-0(so you didn't have to select a goalscorer), typical it would end that way in Wigan Posted Image

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

Another good night for me.

The above was from yesterday for interest.

Number of downloads: 46
Attached File  Win4.jpg (5.46K)
Number of downloads: 43
Attached File  Win5.jpg (9.5K)
Number of downloads: 46

And of course, I can never enjoy winnings without a loss somewhere.

Attached File  Loss1.jpg (7.53K)

My rough calculations make that a profit of £25.30 for the night. I've made similar profits the past few days (as posted in previous threads) meaning I'm probably up around £100. I don't expect my luck to last much longer though.

Profit of 1 quid tonight thanks to Sunderland. Will probably just stick the 11 on Chelsea DNB tomorrow.

Broke even tonight. Big losses on Lyon and Liverpool, good win on Roma (-1) and a win on Man Utd.

Edit: and a small treble on Arsenal, Stuttgart and Napoli.

I won 70 on roulette earlier so stuck some money on a Newcastle, Lazio and Napoli treble. Posted Image

Going on the whole parents reading mail and that, my Mum told me to withdraw the 70 quid and never bet online again. Posted Image

I can tell my mum that I've won (relatively speaking) enormous sums and it barely registers with her now.

Did OK tonight, 3 bets won, 2 pushes (stakes returned) and one loss thanks to Sunderland's late goal. Far and away my biggest bet was on Manchester City -1.5; just watched them on Football First and Stoke looked to barely touch the ball.

I trust you told her where to go? :D
Leigh Griffiths: "I've got faith in my ability and big Gary's as well, and as soon as he gave me the through-ball there was only one place it was going and that was the back of the net."

James McPake: "We'll fight for one another and we'll die for one another on that park and I think that showed today,"

Nope. End of the day I'm 70 quid up, I might have lost it otherwise.

Wish I'd logged on to see the Man City odds (never looked myself). Anyway had 3/4 tonight - Man Utd, Lay Newcastle, Lay Liverpool and also Layed Everton but I'd do that again as they were too low for me at 1.61.

Did you lay Sunderland purely based on their odds because they will surely be a different team under O'Neil and QPR have poor form of late. However, I did think QPR were high.

I've done very well backing the better teams -1.5 goals this season, very selectively of course. Manchester City in particular are great for this, as they've only failed to win by two goals at home once in nine league games - against Arsenal, and if Aguero had had a good day on Sunday it would be 9/9.

Martin O'Neill is often made out to be some sort of managerial superman, but I've never seen it myself. A couple of good seasons at Celtic and Leicester are worthy of praise, but he is merely an above average manager for me. Nothing special. Sunderland started the game tonight as favourites, which seems a little bit wrong to me. Player for player, QPR are not that good and have many above average Championship players, but not many better than that. You can argue how relevant it is but Sunderland won only five away games last season and two the season before. They'd won one from eight coming into tonight and been pretty poor away from home most of the time. I'm not going to spend too much time worrying about losing this bet. Some people had a lucky escape, as I noticed that Sunderland had been matched at 1.08 when 2-0 up.

I backed Swansea +1, so got my stake back, and I will keep betting against Everton while they keep being overrated by the markets. Everton might well be the seventh best team in the league, but they really struggle to score goals, which makes them worth opposing at short prices at home.

With PP Spurs are 13/8, Chelsea are 13/8 and the draw is 12/5. Don't get much more even than that, I'm probably gonna stick a 5 spot on something for interest, thinking draw.
