You can reject nationality, if you have another one. You can't be stateless. You have to renounce all other nationalities to get an American passport.

Uncle and religion, two things which he had no say over as his relative was head of the church... okay... he's not a footballer FFS!

But just to confirm, as I'm not sure Gary Caldwell's much better, were Prince Phillip to come out of international retirement, which nations would he be eligible for? I think Craig Levein should be told.

Greece, England, Denmark, Russia and Austria He only spent 2 years at Gordonstoun so is ineligible for Scotland through the grandparent or schooling rule. Pretty pathetic really, I'm eligible for more nations...

eta: Sorry to be an awkward c**t, but can I clarify the 'sentence of death' rule.
