For admin's sake, I really hope Phil the Greek survives the next 8 days...9 folk have him at the moment and that's probably going to go up quite sharply.

Ask him. Speaks Danish, member of the Danish royal family (great grandfather was king of Denmark; Greece doesn't have one), supports Denmark and considers himself Danish = Danish.

http://www.independe...ip-1563268.html

Nationality is up to the person. Officially he's British though as he had to renounce his claim to the Danish nobility.

I would but I dont speak Danish. Uncle was King of...............Greece. Religion? Greek (afore changing due to 'work' commitments). Nationality is NOT up to the person, as I found out when I tried to give up mine :D...

You can reject nationality, if you have another one. You can't be stateless. You have to renounce all other nationalities to get an American passport.

Uncle and religion, two things which he had no say over as his relative was head of the church... okay... he's not a footballer FFS!

But just to confirm, as I'm not sure Gary Caldwell's much better, were Prince Phillip to come out of international retirement, which nations would he be eligible for? I think Craig Levein should be told.

Greece, England, Denmark, Russia and Austria ;) He only spent 2 years at Gordonstoun so is ineligible for Scotland through the grandparent or schooling rule. Pretty pathetic really, I'm eligible for more nations...

Very useful info. I think his agent should start a bidding war.

I have not had anyone kick the bucket on my list for the last two years, so they all get another shot along with a couple of others. I'm confident of getting at least six this year though.
Look at you. You're a slippery genius!

Shittity f**k, just read the OP and realised I've broken the over 18 rule. Went for a bit of a hail-mary by selecting Jennifer Lopez's 3 year old daughter (they found a lump). Any chance I can sub her out Fuctifano or is that one just void?

I quite fancy Mamman Nur, the fella responsible for the xmas Nigeria bombings to be amongst the virgins (no, not Arbroath) this year but I can't find an exact date of birth anywhere. The CIA have him as 35 years old but these sneaky terrorist types tend to keep the fine details to themselves. Can I put him in, as if he is killed the age will be revealed then anyway?

eta: Sorry to be an awkward c**t, but can I clarify the 'sentence of death' rule. If someone is wanted for a crime which potentially carries the death penalty does that exclude them or does it just mean on death row? Obviously if I've misunderstood that rule then Mamman and a couple of his mates I've selected would be void as well.
