Going to be a cracker of a game, by all accounts I'd say Falkirk are the better footballing side but County are a more cohesive team (Judged by their performance at Dens, not yesterday.)

Good luck to both, the Dee's will be keeping a keen eye on this one, as we inevitably get beat by Morton after we've finally put on a bit of a charge.

Stats suggest otherwise.

Dundee don't like us, why? Because we are better?

Stats suggest that Falkirk are a better team than you? Fair enough, I'll take your word for it.

I wish, was on my break at work when I posted that. Which, unfortunately, is exactly the same place I'll be when this game is played.

The first game at Falkirk we probably just edged. Gardyne somehow hit the bar from 6 yards out and we missed quite a few good chances too whilst Falkirk didn't create too much. Grant Munro then went off with a head injury and El Allagui equalized late on.

Second game in Dingwall we played really well. First half was fairly even but 2nd half we created quite a few good chances and hit the post two or three times. Again Grant Munro coped fairly easily with El Allagui and Falkirk didn't really have a plan B as long balls to Farid were not sticking up front.

If the previous two games are anything to go by I don't see any reason why we can't get at least a point here.

Both good summaries. I think a draw would be a good result, but I an see another County win on the cards.
We hope that you choke

Must win for us. The win at the weekend will really boost confidence. RC will come and be solid, there won't be any surprises. Big home support expected which will have to generate all the atmosphere. There you go Yoda. Hope I didn't disappoint.

I think we're looking at a six point lead to take into the 2012 after another score draw at TFS. Dundee to beat Morton to hop back into second.

If reports of our left back issue are accurate, what are the odds of Vigurs being punted there with Quinn taking his place in the midfield and Brittain returning? Is this what the other County fans on here would like to see?

Not particularly, but it would be good enough I suppose. It would mean getting Brittain back in the team and Quinn not dropping out entirely. The left-midfield slot should suit Quinn in theory, but he hasn't played there much.

As we've all said, Vigurs's talent is wasted at left-back, but he does a good job there too.

Illl be going to this with the lad presuming im back onshore.

Funilly enough last game i was able to catch was falkirk away last year.

Ill go for 1-0 staggies. Hope the muppet that was there last time shouting and swearing at county players constantly isnt there again as i wasdnt appreciative of the language in front of the nipper and the fact he sounded like he was undergoing hormone replacement was rather cringeworthy.

Ross County are a better side than us (in my opinion) and we will have to play well to get anything from the game. I would take a draw just now.

Done and done. A point would be splendid, thanks very much.

Just booked onto the supporters bus there. Weather dependant we'll have at least one bus running as it's almost full.
Hello down there!

1 of the only problems I have with County is they are the only team in this league who could be top and in this situation still bring a shocking crowd. That's not a dig at County fans I know its a hellish journey on boxing day but I kind of wish we were playing somebody else

I do wonder sometimes if folk realise how much it costs to go to an away game, especially for County fans living in the north. For this fixture for the 3 of us it would be in the region of £70-£75 for tickets and travel. On top of that it would be about an 11-12 hour day. I simply dont have that sort of money to spend the day after Christmas. I wish other football clubs were nearer but they are not. I appreciate you may not be having a dig but its a long and expensive day out for some of us. I shall be glued to theTV, radio and internet and supporting my team that way.

I think most people do realise that. In fact Gaz FFC even mentioned the journey in his post and said he wasn't having a dig, I would presume that most other people felt the same way.

I appreciate that Gaz but when folk wonder why we may bring a small crowd I put it down to the logistics and cost. If we were based in the central belt with say a 1 hour drive to the game then I am sure our away attendances would be far bigger, I for one would go to a lot more games. Outside ICT and Elgin City our nearest game would be Saint Johnstone and thats a 5hr round trip on a good day!
Anyway I hope all those going enjoy their day :)

I doubt many people would argue with you on that.
There might be arguments on HOW much bigger, but as a basic point I think most people would agree.

Good luck Falkirk.

This will be a contrast of the way teams play. Falkirk will get it down and try and play, Cty will boot f**k out anything that moves, and launch long balls.

Keep trying you may eventually get a bite.

There's a distinct lack of effort in that post due to the absence of any crowd chat. I am disappoint.

I booked my seat on the bus a couple of days ago. I'm looking forward to this one but I don't think County will win it. Brittain's return is a welcome boost however.
