East Linton's Scottish cup tie against Busby was called off for 3rd week running so were delighted to get a game against Selkirk. The game was very even throughout and both teams tried to get the ball down and play some football.East Linton took the lead after 30 mins through McKillop after a superb cross from Cowan.Selkirk had a lot of the ball without creating many chances and went in 1-0 down at half time. Both teams made changes at half time but the game continued in the same way for the start of the second half with both teams trying 2 play football.East Linton scored there second after Fairy scuffed it home from 6 yards after 65 mins. Selkirk did grab one back after 80 mins throught no 9 (think it was Gibby) but East Linton ran out 2-1 winners in a good friendly played in good spirit.
