Probably only returns about 45 pence until you put Nottingham Forest on it.

My 'free money' tip has been ruined by Ross County's game being called off. That said, I'd keep the other side of the 'First Division certs' double - Dundee - and simply add Falkirk. Falkirk might have been rubbish last week but they got the three points and Hamilton are imploding. Dundee are the second form side in the division and Queen of the South are out of their depth against non-diddy opponents.

League One treble of Huddersfield, Sheffield United and Charlton. Tenner on each probably.

Man city mate. I went premature a couple of days ago @7/4 <_< although they're 15/8 in some places. 2s with victor chandler.

Best dnb odds 11/10 with pp and bet 365, 57/50 with betfair(but there is their commission to take into account)

Hmph. I already took Man City DNB at 21/20. Should have shopped around more.

I quite like the look of Arsenal at home to Everton at 1.57. Everton have played sides in the top 7 six times this season and have lost them all. Arsenal have been solid at home in the league this year (5 wins from 7) and have only really had difficulty away from home. Arsenal have taken 19 points from their last seven league games, and with Saha injured and Cahill struggling for form I can't see Everton putting Arsenal's poor defence under too much pressure.

In Spain I'll be taking Valenica away to Betis at 2.40. Valencia are the third best side in Spain, and despite a poor showing at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night they've won 5 of their last 6 in La Liga with the sole loss being a narrow 3-2 defeat to a rampant Madrid. They've won 9 of 14 in the league overall, with the dropped points coming against Madrid, Barca, Sevilla, a tough away game in Mallorca and a draw with in form Bilbao. Valencia have taken more points on the road than any side in the league than Madrid, even more than Barca. The main reason for this bet though is that Betis are horrendous - they've taken 1 point from their last 10 games, scoring just 4 goals in those games. Seemingly they played pretty well at the weekend but they still lost.

Lazio look a cracking bet away to Lecce at 2.00. Lazio are 4th in the table while Lecce are bottom. Lazio are unbeaten away from home in the league this season, with 4 wins from 6 matches, with the two draws coming away to top sides in Napoli and Milan. Klose has been a great signing for them and he should be back for this one tomorrow. Lecce have just changed their manager but they have been woeful this season. They have suffered 5 defeats from 6 at home, with their sole point coming against Novara who are 18th in the league. They've lost 3 in a row home and away.

I reckon there is also value in Italy in backing Udinese at home to Chievo at 1.53. Udinese have won all 6 of their home games in the league this season, conceding only 1 goal. They played pretty well in a win over Inter at the San Siro last week and sit joint second in the table. Chievo have lost 4 of 6 away games and have conceded 12 goals in the process. Defeat could send them as low as 17th depending on other results.

Juve at Roma is tempting me too but that's on Monday night so I'll have a look at it through the day on Monday.

Absolutely. I backed Lazio against Novara to win to nil at generously above evens. Lazio have conceded 1 goal in their last 7 games and that was against Juventus. To win to nil tonight they are 11/5 and at -1 handicap at 11/4 (William Hill). I'll probably go for one of these.

Some good looking shouts there Marshmallo. I forgot about Betis/Valencia. There's been a lot of calls for Betis sack their manager for some time now.

Also the Roma/Juventus could be a good bet as well. Roma will have those 3 players suspended from the fiorentina game.

EDIT: Sod it, I've taken Valencia and Lazio on singles bets @ 5/4 and 5/6 respectively.

On your head Marsh... :P

Can someone with some expertise on the subject tell me what Dundee's recent good form and sudden goal rush is down to?

Going the opposite way, can someone shed light on Annan's sudden poor form?

Looking ast both at home but previous scores, and early season form seem to be turned on head now for both.

Would you touch either with a bargepole?

Gavin Rae seems to have had a massive impact on Dundee's fortunes. I don't think I'd take any side in the league at the price Dundee are at as the league is so tight.

Celtic -2 are 5/2 tomorrow at home to Hearts. Considering it.

Caldwell is actually a great centre half however consistency can be an issue for him, technically his distribution of the ball for a defender is as good as Pique or Puyol.

Fiver on Arsenal, Sheffield Wednesday and Alloa returns around 25.

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

Nicky Riley turning in some absolutely sensational performances really helped, think he assisted all 4 goals against Falkirk. Gavin Rae has also helped massively and our strikers have hit form at the exact same time.

I'm thinking about a fairly large single on us tomorrow, but I'm going to think it over.

£2:

Falkirk v Hamilton
Huddersfield v Bournemouth
Sheffield United v Rochdale
Walsall v Charlton

I've bet on us three times this season: Hamilton away, Stenny at home and Rangers at home. We won all three. Hoping that's a good sign for tomorrow! The other three really should be winning those games.
