Paul Kinnaird cropped up in a conversation at work today. We reckoned he played for at least 15 different senior clubs.
Is there any player that can top that?

If it's not just Scottish football, then Peter Duffield and John Burridge are hard to beat.

John Burridge was the first name I thought of, Andy Dibble also played for quite a few although I don't know if you'd count loan spells.

Been looking at that A to Z of transfers, couple of other ex Thistle players Kenny Brannigan has played for 14 as has John Hillcoat.
There were a fair few journeyman around in the 80s & 90s. Jim Moffatt has had 10 as has Darren Henderson, Robert Reilly (11) , Willie Watters (12) and
Danny Diver (12).

I'd actually thought he played more times than that for us. His spell certainly felt like it lasted a while and given how awful it was, it's hard to believe he was playing for Man City during the previous season.
I felt a bit haunted by him. As well as playing for Queens, he'd been Newcastle 'keeper when I watched them as a student in the early nineties and he even cropped up when I went with my Hibs supporting brother in law to the League Cup Final against Dunfermline.
One of those halfwits euphemistically described in football as a character. Burridge that is, not my brother in law.

Ex-England under-21 international Trevor Benjamin is onto his 31st club. Something like 17 senior clubs and 14 non-league clubs down in England.
