Heading along to this one on Saturday with a mate coming up from London. Are there any good pubs near the ground and how much is it to get in??

£7 to get in. I think you're best going to the social club at the ground for drinks.

The Langdykes in Cove is the only other choice of a boozer, unless you want to live it up in the Cove Bay Hotel. Coves Social Club is a tidy drinker tho.

Aberdeen has avoided the worst of the snow and ice so far so this fixture may well go ahead.

Cove will let you into the social no bother however as the previous poster has mentioned the only other two pubs are the Langdykes and the Cove Bay hotel both are within a 5 minute walk.

Good food in the Cove Bay and they've got a darts board and pool table in the bar to keep you amused. Langdykes is my local so i'd stay well clear cos I hate tourists and I'm a total heedcase eh!

Thanks guys, looking forward to it! Hope this wind dies down a bit more though, sick of nearly being taken out by flying bin bags

Marvelous. Ended up watching bloody Aberdeen v St Mirren. Entertaining stuff though. Was it a frozen pitch?

Probably.

Banks O'Dee v Longside was a better bet than the Aberdeen game.

Indeed he will, and in a strange coicindence, it shall be against Deverornvale tomorrow, and I shall be attending also. Is this talked of social club cheap? What about the prices in The Langdykes? The hotel sounds pricey so f**k that.
It's a madhouse!!

The hotel ain't that bad. Langdykes is pretty reasonable and don't forget Coves clubby, which is at the ground.

An enjoyable time had! Had a couple at Langdyeks. A decent wee pub. Had many before and after the game at the social club. Brilliant place. And £3 entry to the game was a bonus. Good stuff all around. Will definitely be back for more games next season.

Indeed it was a good day out on Saturday there, good pints and good people all round. Can't wait to get on the Cove bandwagon properly next season.
