There are 8.

Of these, the Scottish Cup is only for SFA Full Members (Threave, St Cuthbert, Wigtown, Newton Stewart) or any other club which wins the SOSFL.

Then there's the Southern Counties Cup where notionally the 12 SOSFL first-teams compete alongside the first-teams of Annan, Stranraer, and Queen of the South, although in practice those sides almost invirably don't field strong XIs.

Then there are tournaments only for the League teams... the League Cup; Potts Cup; Tweedie Cup; Cree Lodge Cup; Haig Gordon Memorial Cup (which QotS have entered the last 2 years basically with U-19s). Sometimes 1 or 2 of these have had their draws kept-back to February, and teams with backlogs allowed to opt-out, but usually everyone enters.

Finally there's the South Challenge Cup which is for all first-teams in the EOSFL and SOSFL plus Burntisland Shipyard and Glasgow University.
